A little back story here, she's my brother's dog, not mine, but he left her with us to keep while he was deployed.
I adore this dog, she's just one of the sweetest and most freaking amusing animals I've ever encountered.
Sadly, she doesn't live with us anymore as our homeowner's insurance won't allow the breed without raising our insurance or possibly cancelling it. I can't afford a nearly four thousand dollar a month house payment, so we had to take her to my mom's house.
Now she's got a huge back yard area to play in, and she's got a dog that's as energetic as she is to entertain herself.
I miss her terribly though, and last night husband asked if we could go see her tomorrow when we go up to my hometown (my mom lives two hours away, so visits are on a monthly-ish basis, if that), to which I said yes.
He asked if we could bring her back home with us, because he misses her almost as much as I do.
My eyes are filling up with tears again, because we can't. I hate that.
Stupid insurance companies. That dog is no more vicious than I am Martian. But because she's a "pit bull" she's categorized as a risk.
