What are you buying your partners for Christmas?

I just sorta buy the gifts, most of them he knows about. it's easier that way because he has so much stuff! His birthday is in a coupla weeks and havent decided what to give him for his birthday and xmas yet, but got this so far:

Kylie Minogue 2009 calendar
Avenue Q furry book thing
Space Invaders t-shirt
Initial D no#32 manga
Chobits artwork book (anime series of chobits)
boxer shorts

and i'll be getting him this soon:

chocolates/sweets
socks (he needs some lol)
My Neighbour Totoro shirt
more Avenue Q memorabilia


i adore my OH, he spoils me and i spoil him lol, he's different from other guys, doesn't drink alcohol, doesnt do drugs (thank goodness), doesnt play sport, sensitive and caring. I could go on forever bout him lol, he's a tad bit older but i dont care (im 18 and he's 22)

I'm getting my partner a chess set for Christmas. He used to play with his grandfather before he died, so now he can teach me and continue to enjoy it

Oh, and some MAC Shave cream because he hates shaving as it irritates his skin.

this thread wasnt debate on whether xmas presents are right or wrong :s

we always get eachother two presents...something romantic that isnt expensive and a main present. im getting him some trainers and not sure about the romantic thing yet. we are both a bit skint this year so not spending too much lol

men are so hard to shop for!! your other half is very lucky to get an i-phone!!!!! im sure xmas day he will be THRILLED!

My family is super into Christmas while my boyfriend's is not. We decided not to do the present thing, but his birthday is Christmas day so I end up getting him a present anyways.

I got him a new wallet ('cause the one he had was cheapy and falling apart), a kilt pin with his family crest (he is 100% scots and plays bagpipes), and a beach towel made in tartan with a printed sporran

We weren't going to do anything ... and then ended up getting each other Guitar Hero World Tour. It was an excuse to buy it ... and since we both wanted it it worked out.

Of course ... since he is gone every other week I am the one getting the most use out of it

We are going to NYC in February so have set £30 as a limit for presents. I've got him a really nice hat, scarf and gloves set that go with his favourite warm coat and is perfect for walking through frosty cold NYC. He also has chocolate Scrabble which he found when putting my ironing away yesterday (I do have him well trained!)

JustSimplyTish.....we don't really exchange gifts because we buy stuff for each other all year long...

But it is time for him to get another Kenneth Cole Watch...He collects watches and other time pieves.

Ehh me & my BF are both really picky so we just ask what each other wants lol. No surprises for us. I like it that way because it means we both always get the things we want

For Christmas this year, I got him ones of those damn RC cars for racing and drifting

Books and lots and lots of books. He's in the navy and out on a cruise until April and he's already finished all the books he brought with him.

Last year I got him a Nintendo DS and myself dolled up in fancy underwear lol

My bf and I are into making memories for Holidays/Birthdays/Anniversaries ... the only real difference is we're willing to spend more than we normally do to make it stand out or make sure all goes well. We will go see a show/concert, we're both a bit of foodies so we'll try a nicer restaurant, or on super rare occasions we will take a trip.

I really like making plans together and making decisions we both will enjoy. I have very fond memories of all of our expeditions and well honestly, I tend to by myself anything I want and I make it pretty difficult to shop for me. Though, I would take a heart-felt gift anyday... scrapbooks, hand written poems, things-I-love-about-you lists, home baked goods (my bf doesn't get near a stove)... etc.

Oh so to answer the question... my bf and I are taking a weekend trip to see a show and go to our favorite restaurant and spend lots of time together with hotel room-service.
