Hi Everyone!!

I'm so bored and staring at my make up - trying to decide what to wear to work tomorrow. So I thought I'd ask - what is everyone's favorite work safe combos?

Mine would have to be Dazzlelight inner eye & highlight, woodwinked middle and Satin Taupe in the outer V and crease - looks stunning.. touch with Nyphette lipglass and

How many of you actually incoperate colour into your "work safe" make up? I want to but I work in the coporate section of a very well known enterainment company.... so I dunno - it should be all fun and games, but I still have to look professional.

My favorite professional look is Dazzlelight on the lid, Wedge in the crease, Espresso in the outer V, and Solar White to highlight.
But that's for when I'm trying to avoid a lot of shimmer.
I also like Shroom on the lid, Satin Taupe in the crease, Handwritten in the outer V, and Vanilla to highlight.

My eye makeup really doesn't matter at my job. My job is pretty meaningless. That being said, I think you could definitely incorporate colour as long as it's something soft - such as Neutral Pink or Illegal Cargo. Blanc Type for lash to brow with with Neutral Pink on the outer third of the lid and crease with a touch of Illegal Cargo to deepen the outer v just a wee bit is soft, pretty and still gives you a touch of colour. Poison pen used lightly could be good, too.

I'd say, in general, mid-tone matte or satin shadows used lightly could be good for adding a touch of colour to otherwise neutral eyemakeup while keeping it professional.

I think you could use coloured eyeliners in deeper colours too if you wanted to add some more colour. I think dark greens and purples could be suitable.

Well I'm not the best one to talk since I do some crazier colours for work, but an easy one would be Dazzlelight or Vellum all over and then Goldmine on the lid. Another one is that, but with Amber Lights in the crease and outer third. Moon's Reflection and Beautiful Iris would also be really good-MR because it is subdued, and BI is very pale but you still get some colour. Crystal Avalanche as a highlight, Beautiful Iris on the lid, and then Violet pigment in the crease and outer third is amazing yet still professional when blended correctly.

My work isn't too fussy. Some of my recent fave combos are Solar white on lid with Mink & Sable in outer V for a smokey green, you can also deepen the crease with Night Light. Another green is your ladyship with golden olive and night light. For purples I like shore leave with illegal cargo and a little deep purple. Neutrals I usually go with yourladyship with gold stroke.

My workplace is traditionally somewhat conservative, and I always dress with taste, to include my makeup. But I LOVES my makeup,

particularly my lip and eye looks, so I wear all kinds of colors (except overtly bright ones, i.e., C-Shock, etc.). I have too many not to! I strive to be creative and pretty with my application and enjoy the looks I create! I enjoy seeing other women wearing theirs, too.

My favorite thing to do when I worked outside of my home was to use a splash of color as a liner. I loved using Teal or Violet pigment on top of black/brown liner with neutral or toned down shadows on the lid. Buuut now I do daycare, so I can wear what I like =)

I usually have about 5-10 min for makeup so on the eyes I usually throw on a shimmery neutral (rose blanc, shore leave, etc) onto the lid with a darker color in the crease like satin taupe, magnetic fields, illegal cargo and the like. I have also been known to mix in cranberry, humid, or fertile just for an extra pop

I finish it up with black liner on the waterline, chanel liquid eyeliner in brown, lips, cheeks and a light powder

Last year i worked in a bank office all year, so dressing and make up had to be worn accordingly.
Lots of trousers and blouses (they didn't have to be black though), and for make up:

(by the way I'm so glad so many people love Dazzlelight, it's my all time fave highlighter and all-in-one e/s)

I usually wore Dazzlelight under brows, paired with gentle pink or grey colours on the lid (such as mac Beauty Sleep (le) and Digit and Electra) and black eyeliner. Plus pink lips (lipstick and gloss).

Amen to that

Also neutrals such as All That Glitters, Amber Lights. My no-fail combination, whenever I don't have time to think what would go well with my outfit, is Jest and Sable. Works everytime

I've never had anyone tell me before that I wear too much makeup, however, I like to keep it somewhat low key at my hospital job. I always wear Shroom on my lid, Satin Taupe over that and something darker in the crease, like Showstopper, Smoke & Diamonds or Black Tied. Of course, can't forget the Blacktrack fluidline!

At my weekend job, creativity is embraced, especially if it's through makeup & hair styles. The flashier, the better. Although lately, I haven't cared too much how I look at the weekend job lol. In the past, I used to wear Vanilla on the lid and Folie in the crease & outer v, Blacktrack and red lips. I could never go wrong with this look, it was really polished & professional.

my personal rule is it's okay to use any color that has the name of something in nature, coffee-related or any nude shade. Pretty much you'll know its safe then LOL
