Is back2mac supposed to be a trade for old packaging and a new lipstick then? Or can you ask for eyeshadows too? I've heard mixed things about this...?

I went today for my first B2M and I as offered either an eyeshadow or lipstick. I got lipstick in High Tea and shadow in Contrast. I was 2 pots short of getting another free item so I will be back for more freebies very soon!

They will take old eyeshadow pots, empty blushes, and glass containers from fluidline (I'm sure there is more). I think it depends on the location, but you should ask when you go in exactly what they offer back to you at that location. Check out the B2M thread, it is sooo helpful!

In the UK you can only take back your 6 empties for lipstick. In the US however, i believe you can get eyeshadows and lipglosses as well as lipstick

I believe it's just the freestanding US stores that give you the option for eyeshadow (and perhaps lipglass). Everywhere else (counters, online...) it's just a lipstick. I just use mine for eyeshadow. Num num, free stuff.

I have way too many MAC glosses that I haven't gotten the chance to finish any of them yet! And I use them sparingly because I'll be sad once they're all gone. Is that sad? lol
