What job did you want before you settled into/ started training for whichever job you're currently in? Just out of curiosity!

I wanted to be a designer but ended up studying drama instead of textiles because of how the timetables at school fell. Luckily I adored my drama group, developed a love for production and decided I'd like to do makeup for theatre instead

Before that I wanted to be a vet (naturally) haha.

I'm only 22 so I suppose I could do anything at this point, but up until now, I've wanted to be a vet, a travel guide, a teacher, a biologist, a translater/interpreter, sales assistant in a clothes store and a make up artist.

I'm one of those silly people who are interested in everything. I am studying languages at Uni though.

-> one messed up kid here <-

I went to school for drafting for 4 years, and decided that I really wanted to be doing hair and makeup. The same time I realized my passion, my dad bought a sign company and gave it to me to run. Didn't know a thing about the business and was extremely intimidated at first, but It's been 6 months now and I love it. I get to play with graphic designing and make some pretty cool things.

when i was younger i wanted to be a vet but because i get so upset over sick animals thought it wouldn't be the best idea! then i decided that i wanted to be a journalist and did that at uni. half way through my course i relaised even though i was good at journalism i bloody hated it!!! so i left and worked in a costa coffee as assistant manager. i then decided i wanted to be a manager but in a sales enviroment. when at uni i'd had a part time sales job at an electronics store and loved it! i landed a job as a sales manager selling fridge freezers and i don't know why i was called a manager because it was only me!!! however after a year i got bored and then landed my dream job as manager of a sony centre. sales and cool gadgets to play with!!

In 6th grade I job shadowed my school counselor because I wanted to be a therapist.

Oddly enough that is what I am now!

Kinda weird to think that I knew what I wanted to do so young and stuck with it!

A ballerina. Which is what I am now, go figure lol! I feel like a little girl still. Except when we do really intense, dramatic ballets where I have to commit suicide via ballet. Then I feel not so little girl.

you know it!!!

my patients wouldn't even need anesthesia. Once they see their doctor coming at them with bright purple lips, they'd probably pass out.

I wanted to be a singer.. make a living out if it.. did not happened beacause my music was not commercial enough for the record companies but I am who I am... I did not want to be another singer from the bunch... so I am a prek teacher but right now I am at home taking care of my 9 month old son!!

I'm still singing though... at my church and I love it!! and I even started writing again but for Jesus.. I think this is what he wanted from me.. that's why he did not let the other stuff happen..;-)

I wanted to be a Fashion Designer and Philanthropist!

I'm a Lab Technician for pay, but I design and sew clothes for pleasure. As for the philanthropy, I donate my time and money to local schools and area homeless charities.

I saw the strain on my parents relationship growing up because of the stress from their jobs. I never had much of a plan in my head as kid, all i wanted was to be happy in which ever career i did go into

I so wanted to own a bakery/candy store with ice cream and lots of incredible tasty things. After I retire from ballet (e.g. at age 35...) I so want to do that. If I have money. Which I probably will not. *dreams of selling chocolates, but actually eating them herself*

Forensics either pathology or psychology, or medical examiner. I found the mechanics / mechanisms behind the WAY people die fascinating.
