I wanted to be a psychologist, but then slowly switched my mind to Web Design, which is what im in college for right now (digital media design) I could'nt really imagine doing anything else, oh i also contimplated on being a chef cause i like to cook, i think if my web design went out the window, my next choice now, would probably be interior design.

When I was younger, I wanted to be a doctor like my dad. In the end, I studied computer science in uni and now I'm working as a consultant (IT solutions).

When I was little I wanted to sing professionally..but to quote Justin Suarez from Ugly Betty "things like that don't happen to people like us".

But now i'm going to be studying Business Management and Marketing. The ultimate goal is to own a fashion boutique one day, collaborating with small time fashion labels, independent fashion labels and so on.
I'd also like to own a patisserie lol.

I wanted to be a singer in a cool cheesy pop girl band…

But then I grew up and wanted to be a kick-ass, stiletto City girl (IT job) – which I did/am (not sure about kick-ass tho), and then discovered MAC and wanted to be a MAC MUA – and now that I’ve ticked that off – I wanna be Christina Agulieras MUA. Or Victoria Beckhams...

When I was 12/13 I wanted to be a lawyer and then I was clueless for a while. Then I wanted to study graphic design - and I did that.
I am a happy Graphic Designer now and addicted to vectors and pixels.

As a child I wanted to be an actress but by time I was 11 I got terrible stage fright and have since considered psychology, journalism, public relations, forensic archaeology, writer, image consultant, interior designer and travel agent. Now doing law degree with no idea whether to be a barrister or an academic but atleast I'm in the right area now.

For about 10 years growing up all I wanted to be was a veterinarian. Then in high school I was bitten by the artistic bug and ended up majoring in visual communications. I now work as a Marketing Communications Manager & Graphic Designer.

I also worked as an MA for Laura Mercier for over 5 years, and have done a lot of freelance makeup work. However, in the last couple of years I have really scaled back due to the demands of my full time job and personal issues (the illness and passing of my mum).

It's interesting how many different paths there are. I, for one, truly believe that we can re-invent ourselves at any time, no matter what age we happen to be at the time.

Well none of my doors are fully closed yet, I've just decided to focus on things that have the possibility to close if I don't do them now.
I wanted to be a translator and interpreter, but I feel as long as I am always up on the languages that interest me, I can always come back to that. But right now I'm on the road to academia. And who knows... maybe the 1st one can supplement it!

I wanted to be an animator, until I went to school for it and did not like it one bit. So I switched to Graphic Design and I am in love with it.
Everywhere I go now, I notice all the packages and what's good about it or what's bad. I'll notice if there's good typography or if a poster used a picture with less than 300 dpi haha oh man I'm kind of a gaphic design nerd.

One day I hope to branch out and design clothing such as graphic tee's, write a book and possibly go into commercials

I wanted to be a teacher...then I got into high school and saw how teachers are treated, and learned that teachers aren't paid shit.

I stumbled in to the casino industry, but I've been at it for 7 years now, and I love it. And it's brought us to Florida, which we love.

I might not always be a Table Games Dealer, but I'd like to stay in the industry. I guess when I get too old or too tired to deal, I'll go for a promotion, lol.

Great typography makes me happy too!

Clients who want to upload a 300 dpi picture in the cms of their website however makes me not so happy.
