What do you do w/ your precious LE items?

The way I see it - if I try to "conserve" it - it will eventually spoil and I won't have gotten full use of it... especially lip stuff. So, with that said, I use it as often as I do my perm stuff. I feel better knowing I am getting full use of the product before it spoils. If it's an LE item I know I will use every day, I will stock up before it goes Goodbye. But MAC is always coming out with new wonderful stuff - the LE products you purchased a few months ago are usually long forgotten by then.
And as far as storage, I keep LE stuff next to PERM stuff - it helps me with color selection when I am deciding what to wear. If I store my LE stuff away someplace, I will never get use out of it.

i use my LE stuff the same way i use everything else, even less, sometimes. i find myself afraid that i'll run out of some of my rare items, so i'll use something else, that is either less rare, or permanent. i keep all my LE stuff mixed in with my regular stuff, but its wierd, because i tend to get into ruts..i know that there are some colors that i haven't even touched since i bought them, yet i still don't use them. i have so much makeup at this point that i hardly know what to use, and when to use it.

well i got three LE items and i treat my chromazone lippie like any other, kept in a traincase but for Shooting Star MSF and Cool & Aloof lipgelee, they get real special treatment lol, even when i dont wear l/g i carry C&A with me, im paranoid about anyone even look at it let alone touch it. My mate used some without asking me and she wonders why my eye was twitching lol

Nope no special treatment. Except maybe that I dont depot those in special packaging!

nope, I buy it and use it. it is integrated into the fold immediately.
i trash the boxes though. But my mua told me that if i bring them in w/ my b2m that they will be recycled even if i do not get anything for them

I keep the boxes for my LE stuff (ok, I keep all the boxes I can until Hubby finds them and freaks out) and I keep my LE stuff together with my regular stuff. I just use what I want for that day whether it is LE or not. The simple fact is that I have so much stuff, I will never use up a whole MSF or a whole e/s, or a whole pigment jar. I am trying to learn to stop hoarding stuff.

I use it, cuz LE items are in the majority among my collection - I haven't had much breathing room to get stuff from the perm collection. =P The only perm. items I have are Trax, Honesty, Vex, Woodwinked... Da Bling!... 2 cremesticks, Duck Powerpoint and Dubonnet l/s. That'd be it. I've definitely gotta use more than that!
