what was your very first job?

I worked at my town's annual summer fair for two days when I was 14. I ran one of those skeezy carnival games. But, my booth was a kid's game and I couldnt handle ripping people off - I gave away sooo many stuffed animals just because I felt bad...then I quit before I got caught by the 'managers'. lol

I picked up rocks from construction sites where new homes were being built over a summer. I think I was around 11 or 12. I guess they all need to be removed before grass could be sewn for the yards. I never really asked why I was doing it. It was for my dad's friend who was a contractor. I got paid $8 an hour and was elated to be able to buy all the clothes I wanted. I was so proud of myself because the guy told my parents that I worked harder than all the boys they had hired before, lol.

My first real job was as a cashier at Zellers (which is kinda like Wal-Mart, sort of.). It sucked, especially working Christmas Eve.

My first career job using my education was at a nursing home as an Activity Co-ordinator. I freaking LOVED that job so much.

My first job was at a tanning bed when I was 16. Seriously, it was the best job ever. I didn't have to clean the beds, I worked at the front desk. $8.70 an hour and all the free tanning I wanted.

My first job was in a video store called Broadway, I worked Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 6 pm to 2 am!!!

I worked at kaybee toy store . I had a freaking blast playing video games and yes I rode a barbie car down the isle after the store closed ! The holidays were crazy though-especially when that Tickle me Elmo and Furby came out -NEVER AGAIN!!!

i worked for a super ghetto supermarket like super ghetto like everyone came to this supermarket to use their welfare and WIC checks. i was only 14 so it worked out alright. after that i worked at burger king!
