Now tell me WHAT high school kid is going to remember 10 types of bell sequences ? It was not thought out well at all


At my high school, everyone knows what the fire bell sounds like because we have drills on it all the time. We don't bother with other drills. If something else happens, [like an intruder or bomb threat,] they come on the intercom and say, "CT Judson, Code ____."

But my ninth grade year, we had a new bomb threat every day for like, three weeks. Spending all day in the hot Texas sun with no water, etc. is not pleasant. The first it happened, they shuttled us somewhere else, & kids were calling their parents saying to come pick them up & if they couldn't get rides, telling them they loved them. It was sad.
