I've heard great stuff about Bobbi Brown's Gel Liner - I think the colour is Caviar Ink.

I really love Urban Decay Ink For Eyes. The packaging is so much cleaner and neater and efficient than most. At least for the way I use it on others. They offer it in the five standard colours, plus a clear base with rainbow glitter in it that I use in just about any way but eyeliner. I really love that stuff.
However, if you need more avant-garde kind of stuff, the Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream is excellent. It's a multi-use product that works perfectly as a gel liner or a base, and it's flexible and crease resistant, which is really all you would need out of it, right? I believe it comes in almost two dozen colours [basically everything but black, which is weird] including red, and orange, and several shades of pink and blue and neutrals. It works great as a liner with a razor thin angled brush, and it dries great, but I always am tempted to layer a matching shadow or translucent powder over it out of paranoia, and I know that works BEAUTIFULLY and it doesn't go anywhere. I don't imagine it would make a huge difference without it, though.
There's also the MUFE Aquarelle which almost all shades of can be used as an eyeliner. It's more of a liquid but it's packaged in a sanitary vial so it's just as safe to use on multiple people as a pot you can scrape out of. You can also use it to draw on people with, if that is a selling point to you.

AiriMagdalane, MUFE does make a black cream liner but it's kinda it's own product? It's just called Aqua Black. It's not really the same consistency though...I wouldn't highly recommend it but I am ALL about the Aqua Creams!

Yes, they do make it. But they don't make it in the normal aqua creams. There isn't a huge selection in the lines that have the matte black, some of them only have one or two colors. I think theres only black and turquoise in the creamliners.

I'd definitely recommend Bobbi Brown long wear gel liners. I haven't personally tried the MUFE aqua creams but have heard great things about them.

If you want bargain and accessibility, Physician's Formula has Shimmer Stacks gel liners, and they have really GREAT staying power, and you get 3 colors for under $10. It's a bit smaller than MAC's fluidline jars, but most gel liners dry out before they're fully used up anyways. I LOVE using them as eyeshadow bases, and seriously - I went clubbing, came home PISS drunk, and fell asleep with a full face on... and woke up looking immaculate to do it all again the next day. [Not like I would, but I amazed myself when I expected to look like a hot mess when going to take off my face in the mirror]

I have the green and purple shimmer stack. The shimmers are not chunky at all, and it's like a fine satin almost. They look absolutely beautiful, and you can find them at any Target or CVS.
