Did you sample the primer??
Yes, I've sampled the primer. This is actually the second time I've sampled it- and it's just too great with my winter foundation to pass up at a discount.

That's so awesome! How did it enhance your makeup?Yes, I've sampled the primer. This is actually the second time I've sampled it- and it's just too great with my winter foundation to pass up at a discount.
I'm curious as well. That's so awesome! How did it enhance your makeup?
First, let me state that I find it way overpriced, period. I've tried primers at much lower price points that I like. That said, it's just right for one of the three foundations I have in rotation. In terms of being a traditional primer, it's miserable. I don't notice any major wear extension for my foundation, one of the reasons why I wear primer.
In terms of a perfect finish, it's unmatched. I pair this with Burberry Velvet foundation and the result is flawless-looking, internally lit skin with just the primer and foundation. If your skin is great, I suspect you could just wear the primer. It's subtle and pretty without looking like you've rubbed a disco ball. Unlike Burberry's Glow, this isn't a highlight. It's a real primer. I also wouldn't mix it with a foundation. During the winter, my skin is rather dry, so matte formulas are difficult. With this primer, I can wear them all day.
You can sometimes find the fullsized primer for about $50 on overstock.com but they don't seem to have any right nowIt is.
I find it crazy expensive ($73), so I have to use gift cards on it. I'm on my second sample of it this year and adore it.
This is exactly what I wanted to know. I think the difference between highlighters and primers is clear---used both for many years. Some primers make the claims to do these things but few actually deliver. I'm sure you've found that too, on occasion. Thanks for sharing your experience. This will be at the top of my list of primers to try the next time I'm in need of one. I've spent so much money on primers that I have barred myself from new ones until I've used the ones that I have. One might call that 'primer overload'.
LOL, right, definitely going to keep.So I guess those would be EXPERIMENTAL BALLS! Actually I would use the powder and not let it go to waste. That's essentially what we're doing when we swirl
our brush in them---we want them to release that glorious, angelic powder.
I'm trying to hold fast to that 'no primer declaration.' I recently started using the Algenist Pore Corrector Anti Aging primer and I also have the Charlotte TilburyI totally understand primer overload! I've been trying to work down my primer stash for over a year. I actually tried the Meteorites primer first a year ago but knew I needed to use up primer before I could justify spending that type of money.
The interesting thing for me is that Burberry makes the claim that the Sheer Glow can be a primer, mixed with foundation, or used as a highlight. Those are 2 or 3 different products!
Interestingly enough, the primer is subtle enough that you can use the balls with it as well.
Aww, sorry that yours and a few other people's balls got crushed! I have had that happen a few times even from purchases made in the U.S. I just put them in a different loose powder container and use them that way. You did need to go lightly when they're loose though, as you're picking up way more than you normally would from the balls. I've actually mixed the powders into my setting/finishing powders to make my own custom powders a few times. The mixtures were so lovely on the face that my sisters wanted me to make some for them. Alas, I ended up splitting what I had because it's impossible to recreate the mixture (unless I want to crush some perles!).
That's a great idea. I hope everyone with crushed balls uses your approach.Aww, sorry that yours and a few other people's balls got crushed! What you do have, though, should last you a long time. I have about the same amount as you and I can't seem to make a dent in them.
I was just getting ready to inquire about her----she hasn't been around today. I hope she did. This just seems to be taking an unusually long time doesn't it?Did Naomi get her white balls YET???????????
Yes it really is. Everyone is concerned that she hasn't been on here ?I was just getting ready to inquire about her----she hasn't been around today. I hope she did. This just seems to be taking an unusually long time doesn't it?

Yay! Finally!Hello lovely ladies! Just popping in to report that I did get my balls delivered on Saturday and I love them!I had quite a bit of powder at the bottom, but I kind of expected that after hearing the last few tales of busted balls. Either way though, I'm happy to have them in my collection.
