Oh, and I still catch myself mentally matching people I see out in public..he he.

No, they still do that, but it's a brief overview...not like you have a chance to sit down & match everyone-or even get to play with the foundations more than like twice.

I loved the primary color foundation thing. I made both my partners & my foundations in less that 5 minutes during that part...it was amazing! (All those years of art classes paid off for something)

I didn't want to start a new thread but I'm going for my interview today at 3!!!! Pray that I get it guys!!!!!! I have a bad feeling about it because I had a really crappy day yesterday but I figure worse comes to worse I'll just interview with them again and again and again until I annoy them to take me haha.

So I had my demo interview on Friday and I just wanted to update a bit. I only had 20 minutes for the entire demo!!!! The means 20 minutes for me to get all my products and to finish the make-up demo. I was stressin out so hard lol. I managed to finish everything except I couldn't line her lower lashline with black eyeliner which really looked bad. So at the end of the demo they asked me what I would have done differently if anything. I said I wanted to line her lower lashline with black eyeliner to make her eyes pop more but I just didn't have the time. They said they agreed and that's the only suggestion they had. They told me I did a great job for the time I had and that they'd call me after the weekend to let me know their decision.

I'm not 100% happy about the demo but my cousin (aka my model) loved it and she even winded up buying the eye combo I used on her lol. Hopefully that helps. idk if what they said was just to be nice or was honest ... I guess I'll find out when I get a call back from them.

These demo interviews sound so stressful. I'm glad they are not part of the hiring process here. Good luck to you Amoona, I'm sure you did great!

Yea those are the only two I've heard of so far. But the counter I interviewed at in Serramonte is also pretty new it opened on Black Friday. I'm wondering if any others opened in the Bay Area too because this counter still isnt listed on MACCosmetics.com.
