Nars/Guy Bourdin in Wishful Thinking is a stunner IMO. The texture is awesome, esp compared to Nars Outremer which is awful, (gorgeous colour too though.)

I agree with your feelings on the laguna bronzer and also on the flip flop quality. I remember when everyone in Sephora was raving over orgasm and laguna back in 2006. Remembering my stepmother is a makeup hoarder with a tenancy of using products twice and moving them into storage aka 'deepest depth of her closet'. I searched and pulled out a 2007/2008 laguna/orgasm duo. Swatched with the laguna and orgasm in the One Night Stand Palette and big difference between them. The older palettes have a much finer texture with better color payoff and smaller shimmer additive compared to the newest. I really began to notice this mediocre chalk-like texture in the Narsissict Eyeshadow Palette and God created Woman Palette. Nars really needs to straighten up and remedy their chemio-physical production.
This form has very fueled me to do a youtube product review.
I really need find better makeup brands that I need less to bitch about. Maybe Hourglass.

I was sooo soooo disappointed in Outremer.

but I agree Outremer is stiff and difficult to play with. Yes agree too Kauia is a beautiful duo. ( I do not have Kalahari but it sounds great )

I also have it. I purchased when it was launched. I've worn it once with a bronze shadow and slightly added Persia in the crease. Use a light hand as it is super pigmented. I'm sure you know this... Good luck

Nope it's def not you, I was thinking the same exact thing! They are great quality but I think I can find a high end dupe, that's cheaper when just kinda like a color or if I don't see myself using it a lot.. There are so many other high quality, high end brands that are cheaper

I agree. Speaking of which, the new lipsticks were launched today (All 40 of them..). The price compared to the old ones are a six dollar increase. After a certain point I just have to go, "Why?"

I love Earth Angel, Habanera and Dogon duos. Earth Angel is seriously underrated.
I'm loving Malacca at the moment. I rarely ever buy cosmetics now because most of my money is spent on necessary useful stuff for everyday life (or sales, lol), but I couldn't resist Malacca and I don't reget it one bit.

I love Strada but Wet n Wild's kitten is a great dupe for it. Sugarland duo is pretty but the quality is so so, the purple shade is amazing but the gold shade is chalky and horrible. I wish quality was consistent with all nars eyeshadows.
