As the year is coming to an end, I think it's fun to reflect on your top five products (yes, restrict yourself to five products only). If you want - and that's the fun part - add a few lines what you like about each product.

I'll make a start:

- Semi-Precious Goldstone: It's an awesome addition to my bronzer collection by adding more of a bronzey glow rather than giving too much color. I'm still very excited about it. And yes, I BU-ed the hell out of it.

- Nubile Paintpot: It has become a very stable product in my stash that I do not want to miss again - ever. Whether it is serving as a neutral base or whether I wear it on it's own, it is such a great product that never lets me down.

- Elude Beautypowder: Translucent but not chalky. Semi-matte but not powdery. Luxurious but timeless. The list goes on endlessly. Call me the Queen of Elude.

- Wonder Woman Pink Power MSF: What a great combination of colors to have in a large compact. The only regret is the lack of a mirror.

- 128 LE Brush: A high quality brush that I use on a daily basis. Very versatile, easy to use and easy to clean. Love it.

Blue Noon is gorgeous. I wore it for the past few weeks. I love how long it lasts on the waterline.

Here's my list (color-usability-texture mix):

1. Play Time l/s - purple is my one weakness, and I just love this pink/lavender/purple color!

2. Fusion Pink (/Violetta) l/s - not new, but here I want to vote for Amplified (the not creme version) with (purple!) sheen

3. Nubile PP - I love this PP! A good base for everything or on it's own. Already BU-ed.

4. How Beautiful BP - I've been loving this BP daily. It's warmth on your face (like Snowglobe is light on your face).

6. Warmth of Coral MB - It's coral and it's MB. I hope it will have a baby with Pressed Amber, a coral-brown MB.

Lightscapade msf: I know it's an obvious pick but I am super pale and I love mineralise products it's great to have a msfn in a shade to suit my colouring. It gives the most amazing glow when layered over Luna ccb. The first item I ever backed up. 128 brush: I love the split fibre brushes! I love using this to apply studio sculpt- one side to apply the foundation and then the other side and tip to buff and blend it into the skin. The duo fibre kabuki is also an amazing foundation brush for f&b foundation Prep & prime Skin enhancer in illuminate: primer, SPF and illuminator in one- what's not to love! As a mum of 2 small kids multi purpose products are becoming more and more important to me Let's skate paint pot: this year has been great for paint pots but thus one is just so versatile that it had to be my top pick. Great on it's own or as a base to brighten any look Clarity mes: I could happily pick any mes from semi precious but this one is just beautiful and unique

I would have included Lightscapade in my Top 5, but with all the Beigecapades floating around, it did not make the cut.

I totally agree with you on Let's Skate. It's a heavenly p/p for NW10-20, but also suits darker beauties. I hope that this one - next to Nubile - eventually becomes perm.

Let's skate has much better staying power than some of the older shimmery pps like bare study....I might even have to get a back up!

Only 5 products.. Hmmm let me see.

Snowglobe Beauty Powder. I'm probably including this because it's fairly new to me, but it's a gorgeous highlight on my NW15 skin, without being too shiny. It doesn't impart colour on me, it just makes my skin glow

Hocus Pocus Eyeshadow. A perfect smoky eye, every single time. It really makes my greenies pop as well.

Overdyed blush. It just works very, very well with my skintone, and I can sheer it out or build it up, depending on what look I'm going for.

Stunner blush. Nice and neutral. I grab it whenever I can't decide which blush to wear. Goes great with Snowglobe BP as a highlight.

Candy Yum Yum. It's just so awesome. I don't wear it often, but when I do, look out world! It dries my lips terribly, but I don't care, because it's just so pretty. (Also very pretty with Eloquent Air over top of it. EA was a very close 2nd to CYY, as it's nice on it's own with a smoky eye, or layered with other lippies)

I would have included Matchmaster foundation if it didn't break me out so badly. The finish was gorgeous on me, and it seemed to control my oil. MAC Guy, I agree with you about Lightscapade. While I wear it ALL THE TIME, and I like it (after hunting down some bluer ones), it doesn't feel that special, because I know that it's not the same as the original. Also, I was trying to choose products that were on their first release this year.

This was harder than I thought! I'll probably change my mind, but here's what I decided (I've left out products that weren't new to me this year, inclusing Lightscapade and Feline):

Mighty Aphrodite blush: Beautifully pigmented, easy to blend and goes with everything. Gives me a lovely glow without looking ruddy or being too warm.

Soft Sable lipstick: I love this. It's very unusual and it great for toning down my lips when I'm wearing a bright or smokey eyes, without making me look too washed out. It also looks lovely layered over other shades!

Dalliance Mega Metal eyeshadow: Beautiful shade, unlike anything else I own. The texture and pigmentation are amazing and it looks stunning with so many other colours. I wish I'd got a back up!

Avenue Fluidline: So beautiful when black liner is just a little too much but other browns (like Dipdown) aren't dark enough. The subtle shmmer is lovely too.

211 eyeliner brush: I just found this really easy to work with and have found myself reaching for it regularly.

Honourable mentions go to Stunner blush, Pink Cult blush, Snowglobe Beauty Powder, Hocus Pocus and Creamy Bisque eyeshadows, Golden Gaze MES, Legendary Black and Keep Your Cool Pro Longwear eyeshadows, Odalisque and Centre Stage Mega Metal eyeshadows, Runaway Red and Oh Oh Oh lipsticks, Naked Bliss Mattene and pretty much all the new Paint Pots (I just haven't used them all enough to pick a favourite yet!)

Apologies for the "5 products only" rule, but this helps to really narrow down your selection. But I second your thoughts, I also find it incredibly hard. Lol.

This was harder than I thought it would be.

1) Wonder Woman Pink Power MSF: Love this as blush/bronzer/highlighter. I wish I had a BU I use at least three times a week. Great for traveling. A mirror would have been lovely Mac-Guy!

2) Center Stage Eye Shadow- Love the chocolatey brown shade , the creamy texture and blendability. Gives depth to my many neutral looks. Mine cracked in transport and put it in sample jars for easy use.

3) Woo Me Kissable Lip Gloss - Perfect nude lip gloss for me, love the formula and ecstatic it's coming back next spring will buy BU's

4) Nubile Paintpot- Pretty much the perfect everyday paint pot! Whether a neutral or bold eye look it works every time. I need another BU!!!

5) Moleskin Eye Shadow - Great for blending the crease color , nice pigment. Never can have enough matte eye shadow's. A warm nude light brown, just perfect for me.

Honorable mentions- My other kissable lip glosses, Candy Yum Yum and the mega metals especially Dalliance and Odalisque. Can't forget Snow Season ,Fresh Ice and Let's Skate new additions to my fav's!

1. Sparkle Neely, Sparkle - Great crease color for me. I use this almost everyday! I would not be shocked if I hit pan before the new year, its how much I love that color! Plus I love the name.

2. Gem of Roses - It was just easy for everyday. It stayed in my purse since I had it.

3. Prolong wear concealer - I know its not a new product for this year, but every since I started using this product I can't get enough of it. I can just put it on and go and it STAYS all day. (well my work day). I'm already on my third bottle this year so I felt it was worth mentioning.

4. Evolution Revolution - Another item I just love to use everyday that was easy. Its almost gone as well.

5. How Beautiful - I got it because I wanted the white compact I loved how it was shiny and how it looked. Turns out I love how beautiful as well. It is a perfect highlighter for me.

Oooh this is tough, but I'll try. 1. Spectacle of Yourself mega metals shadow. All of the mega metals I own are amazing, but I use this one the most. Sometimes, I even fill in my brows with it! 2. How Beautiful bp. Thanks MAC guy for selling me on this one. I love it and have used it every other day since getting it! 3. Caqui lp gloss. So beautiful. Even if I'm wearing very little other make-up, this makes me look pulled together. 4. Neon Orange l/s. Ok I know it's not specifically a 2011 product, but it was released in a 2011 collection, and that's when I bought it. This is the most flattering lipstick I own for me. Weird, I know, but awesome with my green eyes and peachy skin. 5. Mythical eyeshadow. Again, with the green eyes... So amazing!

So far my top 5 list is:

Pink Power MSF looks amazing gives me a pretty pinky glow

Prince Noir Lipstick Very vampy but also very wearable, I've always looked great with a dark redish color on my lips.

Genuine Treasure Paint Pot FINALLY found this amazing paint pot. Great for a simple neutral eye. So glad I found it!

How Beautiful Beauty Powder Sigh I love this for an all over boost of a warmthy glow. Will be getting a bu of this baby.

Hocus Pocus Eyeshadow The best smokey eye color ever. I kept trying to find a dupe but nothing has those darn multi-colored sparkle like this one.

Honorable mentions:
Runaway Red Lipstick
Sakura Blush
Nitrolicious Lipglass
