Maybe I should get Later and Moonlight Night pigments after all. This is coming from a person that has stopped buying pigments after they changed the size.

What should I do to get them to last longer so I can convince myself it's worth the $18?

These are actually Dazzleglass Cremes, and I find that the staying power is just awful on them since they're very thin. The one that I have lasts all of twenty minutes before it is completely gone.

They're a very different formula from Dazzleglasses, so be warned!

Oops I meant DG Cremes. So it's because they are thin that they don't stay? That's good to know just in general. I'm passing. I'm not wasting $18 on products I know won't work no matter how pretty.

I'll just use that money to buy another PG.

Thank you so much Shontay and Erin for the pics/swatches. They helped me cut down a lot on my list which is a good thing since I want to branch out and get some stuff from the Chanel and Bobbie Brown holiday collections! I'm down to:

Later Pigment
Moonlight Night Pigment
Warm Thrills Pigment Set
Cool Thrills Pigment Set
The Fairy Glen L/S (maybe)
Black Swan & Under Currant pearlglides (maybe, I have way too many liners I never use, I always reach for my fluid lines instead of the pencil type liners)

I don't know if that's why they don't stay, but they seem to just fall off my lips if that makes any sense. And they are definitely thinner than any lipgloss formula from MAC I've tried. They are pretty in swatches, but I think you should pass as well. Get a PG!

I used it with water based mixing medium, that's why I thought it was so weird it coming off all day long.

That's so weird! Later is one of my easiest and most used pigments. I'm sorry it's giving you so many problems.

So I saw the sets at Macy's the other day (did not see the individual item part of this collection), and I have to say that this looked like the best holiday collection that MAC has released in many YEARS. I didn't intend to even look twice at the palettes, but since I saw them in person, I am getting at least two.
lol.gif

My highlights:

-Reelers & Rockers palette- e/s were extremely smooth and very pigmented. And the combination is going to be sooo rock and roll hot!
-Dashing Lassie palette- although these are pretty basic neutrals, there was amazing color payoff as well, and a beautiful combination of colors. This will be my go-to natural eyes palette!
-The brush bags are fantastic!! Best MAC has ever made. Great quality, super functional, and so appropriate for the theme of this collection. I have recently been contemplating getting another set of mini brushes, so I think this collection will be the one!

-Lip & brush sets are very typical of past collections, so I didn't spend too much time on them.

Overall I think I'm spending a lot more than I expected!!

Are they really that similar in real life?

If so, I may have to get 2 Black Swans!

I got 2 of BR and never regretted it...I use both

they get transported a lot (purse, etc) so the backup is always given love, too

Love the swatches Erin!!! My list for the Colour Collection is still the same. As for the sets, I'm going to get Reelers & Rockers Palette, Beauties Play It Cool Palette, Vain & Glorious Lip Bag and Dazzle The Lads Lip Bag.

Thanks, Erin!

I think Semi-Precious is on my list now. I really like Gone Romancin' too but... I think I can skip it and be okay with that.

another enabler for UNdercurrent.. I always wear it on my top lash line cos I am clumsy with the lower lash and it always gets into my eye.. I usually two a thick line on top and black on the waterline... I always get compliments everytime I wear it.. on my med dark skin it looks more emerald green than teal... Undercurrent is a must! i will probably buy a back up.. i end up wearing it most saturdays when I am out window shopping or whatever

I really want Glamora castle do you think it will look good on a NC15 hazel eyed auburn haired 20 year old Erin? Also do you think Golden Crown is unique or not really? Thx
