In my country people dress very very casual and in universities (and laboratories) most women wear very light neutral makeup, the heavier makeup is reserved for when we'll be grownups and go to work in the real world :p but to be honest around here in the university even most professors don't wear makeup on their face let alone eyeshadows, blushes etc..
People always look at me oddly when I wear a bright colorful eye look, but I'm learning to not really care and just wear what I want according to my mood!

Just edited to add that most of my friends don't even own makeup! and it is always a struggle with my boyfriend who absolutely detests makeup and if he thought he could get away with it he would take out all my makeup to the trash!

you can almost think of it as a good thing that your boyfriend likes the way you look naturally! mine is the same - he says i look "cuter" without makeup and "older" with makeup... and he doesn't like lipstick either because he can't kiss me when i am wearing it....but that doesn't stop him from buying me some holiday collections!

I love everything I got from this collection, heartless is a great red, innocence beware..finally a flattering nude on me! Bite of an Apple is so pretty and Oh So Fair ..wow best pink blush ever from MAC. She Who Dares..so pigmented and smooth for a MES. And I think the packaging really grew on me..especially the beauty powder case..I don't want to mess it up it my purse.

I called up Westfield, and I am going to get *Wicked Ways* I was so surprised to hear that they pretty much have everything except the polishes, Toxic Tale and She Who Dares! Great headsup, thanks.

Back on topic of *regrets* mine was actually Violetta - I don't love it love it, love it - [ducks stones, rocks, bottles, missiles, empty b2ms

] in the tube it looks great, but on i'm like hmm this looks meeeh . I have no problem getting to the PRO store so there was no need for it! Funnily enough I really toiled with the idea of getting either Heartless, Violetta or Toxic Tale - I should have got TT or Heartless or Wicked Ways first time round. C'est la vie!

i'm so happy i helped!

I'm still in love with all of the things I bought from VV. Yesterday I wore My Dark Magic and it was pretty awesome over Black GPS. I paired it with Rimmel Plum on the cheeks, Briar Rose and Revenge is Sweet. Hubby liked it a lot! I'm going to wear TT today just to get the final verdict. I loved it on a week ago but we'll see if I'll still feel the same today.

Still loving all the VV posts coming. I'm so excited for you intl mamas! I had so much fun just collecting Disney stuff I could relate to having watched 3 out of the 4 movies growing up. Just how pretty and wearable the colors were from this collection is just the yummy cherry on top!

Got Bite of an Apple on my cheeks and I FINALLY think I'm wearing it properly. With most blushes, I sweep them back, but with BoA I find it looks best when I smile and just stiple it right onto my apples.

Maybe I'll go back to my counter and look for She Who Dares cause I'm bored. Hilarious. (cause it won't happen)

I have bite of an apple blush in my list and the Cruella BP. I also want to check a few of the lip products out and the cooling powder.

Yay. Got my hands on Briar Rose. It's on it's way. In theory, this should be the perfect blush shade for me.

I'm sure BoaA looks superb on you. I definitely think that this blush was made just for the apples of the cheeks.

RE: She Who Dares
If you don't manage to locate one, I personally think that Sabbath and Libertine in UD Black Palette are pretty good dupes for SWD. Just a suggestion

Thanks! I'll consider it. I should really stop lusting since I KNOW that I won't wear it that much. I did check the two stores at The Grove and neither had them. It's not meant to be.

If anyone is living in CT looking for VV items - the store in the Stamford Mall still has a bunch of stuff! Everything from the Cruella line except for Darkly My Dear. I saw quite a bit from Evil Queen and Dr. Falicer, and I think two or three items from Malificent.

do you think bite of an apple would work best on a specific skintone? it just looked so bright in the store :-/

Well so far most people seem to really like it. On pale girls, it gives us that "just came in from the cold" flushed look. Definitely takes a light hand. On women with darker skintones, it'll pop more compared to other colors that may be more sheer.
