is FC more black than brown. I'm for some reason i'm thinking its going to look like mud on.
I really like those purple VPs in the beauties palette. Very deep and on the cool side. never really looked at that palette before now. i may haul that and the dashing palette. and that's its. we'll see, not rushing.

It's more black on my hand (and I swatched that thing a million times and losing my mind in the process). I don't think it'll look like mud, but it's not that dark rich brown that I was hoping for. Plus, the glitter turned me off. I don't know about any possible fallout, but it just didn't turn me on. I think it's the least impressive of the pigments.



I think one color in 6 beauties and possible 2 or 3 in twists of tartan are hard to swatch, but I expect that. I think they will work fine when put to the test. This coming from someone who has no problems with Violet Trance. The other palettes bored me to tears. Now, I want the bronzey lip set, the cool pigments, Romancin', and the teddy keychain. I am thinking about courting lilac because I saw it on a brown girl and it was actually pretty nice! I also saw cut a caper on a brown girl and...hell no.

I don't see why not! Although I know you can't B2M for the Viva Glams, which I tried the other day...

Maybe give them a call to double check before you go!

I would check, just to be safe....when I did my pre-order, I mentioned to my store that I was interested in B2M'ing for TFG lipstick and they told me NO B2M with any LE items---only base collection only. DANG!!

I stopped by my local store today, and got to previe/test everything I pre-ordered, sight UNSEEN. Thankfully,everything I picked, I love!! I may have to get an extra of BLACK SWAN---it's VERY pretty!!

Still on the fence about the two lipglass sets, though. I wanted both the Corals and Pinks, but now I'm not so sure----I have so many full-size coral lg's.....maybe I should skip both? Thoughts and opinions?

Wow! So many changes to get used to. When the format changed I "lost my place" as far as unread msgs in the thread and had to go back and re-read quite a bit.

I feel a bit stressed making my list for this one. I am still enjoying my VV goodies and am not quite prepared to do my Christmas shopping. Here is my tentative list. Please feel free to help me narrow it down. For reference I am N2/NW15 with black hair and green eyes

Im thinking about the Happily Ever After lip palette, but...

There's not much talk about the lip palettes!

Is there something I should now about the lip palettes? MAC lip palettes? I know it's just a personal preference on whether or not one likes them...are the lipsticks not as pigmented in the palette, maybe?...although Erine's swatches of them are great.

I always use a lip brush to apply lipstick, so that doesn't bother me to use one for the palette (there are some out there that probably prefer applying straight from the tube?)...

can anyone shed some light on this and add their two cents?

Okay. I don't want to spend anymore on this collection, so I need you all to help me stay strong and pass on Black Swan. I'm still going to backup TFG, but I'll just use my three B2M sets. That should be enough backups, right?

And I'll be getting Sir Teddy.

And those three sets will hopefully be birthday gifts from my family.

I'm waiting on someone to get back to me about a CP but I am impatient. I want this collection yesterday. LOL I will not buy this stuff at the Euro prices. It's just too much of a markup and if I can get everything I want cheaper then why not right. Fingers crossed my gal gets back to me.

I got to see mostly everything today, some items they did not get in. Honestly, I just was not that impressed with anything

The pigments were pretty. The brush sets looked awesome with great quality. The bags adorable. I was disappointed in Cut a Caper - just not the color that I thought it was going to be from that lovely first picture we all saw. I thought from that picture that it would have had more of a rose coral color to it, but it's just another sheer light coral. I may still b2m for it. TFG looked good on my hand, but may not show up that much on my very pigmented lips. The palettes looked nice, but I feel like I already have those colors. I didn't feel like there was enough pigmentation/color payoff in the shadows. The peach blush was pretty much like peaches which I have & unfortunately, they did not have the HBC

I will get the 2 pearlglides - black & brown ones.

Also please make the decision for me: Later or TFC? OR Moonlit Night? I will mostly wear them for work so I'd need something that could work for a lawyers office (I love my Boston public defenders) to night time dates with the hubbs. I've gotten away with daytime smokey eye looks at work, even red lips too soo... Please help? I wish I could buy a lot but my first check won't be until mid November D:
