Really!! I do pat it on my lids as opposed to "painting" it on.. but thats to minimize fallout.... maybe that helps the colour better than applying it? My point was (as also pointed out by Shontay and Erine), when ur showing colours, esp pigments, you should use a base/use them wet to show their proper colour rather than apply them sheerly

I have never gotten into the Holiday sets. I usually go for the collection, which will totally be the case for this year...along with that cute ass bear. BUT...sigh...the packaging is so classy and kick ass that I may just have to splurge. Any recommendations?? Must haves??

I'm soooo surprised that I have interest in the lip sets. I like BOTH the (coral-hearts-a-beatin', jest for fun, mimmy, pretty quick, tad saucy) set and the (neutral-bright & perky, girls at play, scottish lilt, spirits a' flying, stealing kisses) set. I think I like the latter better. Oh my goooddd they look so awesome to me. Great swatches as usual, Erin!

Oh! I wore Industrial Pearlglide (for the first time!, since buying it and Undercurrent earlier this year) the last two days out 'n about to see if I had any reaction to it before I bought Black Swan and Lord it Up from this collection...and...
for one, Industrial is a beautiful silvery, blue, purple(?) concoction on my lids! Why didn't I try it out earlier! ....now I have to try Undercurrent now (again, first time using that too)
and two, no reation to my lids! Im happy about that
So, Black Swan and Lord it Up it is!
Im thinking of ordering these two right when they release them online....I don't think these are shades I have to swatch in store...erine's swatches of them were all I needed to say I wanted them
Now to nail down the rest of my list...Viva Glam V lip bag is calling me now!...I can't find too many swatches of lipstick/gloss though! I need to see a few more swatches of them

Ok, so I know I said I'm most likely not getting anything from this collection, maybe 1 or 2 items, but I made a pre-order of the Dashing Lassie e/s palette...I'm really diggin' browns at the moment! I'm really disappointed in the color section, and I was thinking really hard about which single eyeshadow to get so it won't look too tacky, and one of the dazzleglasses...well, I guess I'll be waiting until it comes out to test it!

I imagine the neutral set would look amazing on WOC. But, I need the set for Scottish Lilt. I love the look of that one.
I'll be swinging by MAC on Thursday to get my backups of Faerie Glen, Sir Teddy, and either 2 Black Swans or 1 Black Swan and 1 Black Line. Probably the latter. And I'll reserve the mini sets I want, too.

Yeah, I know I really should swatch first, I'm afraid it could all be sold out before even hitting the shelves like the VV.
I'm in a compulsive shopping period, I tend to buy an awful lot of staff, spend all I've earned (or saved) and then buy nothing for a loooong time as a penitence
I'm so in love with the packaging of this collection…sob! Somebody stop me, I've lost control!
Oh btw I'm a nail polish fanatic too, I just avoid nailart most of the time because I lack the skill
Alty, if Italy is a bit like Germany then they will have a lot of the sets. I swear the sets are the only things that do not sell out over night. Or at least used to *knockonwood*
