My list and my haul ended up being a bit different. This is the first time I have ever left a MAC counter/store with fewer items than were on my list. Not much to add to the wonderful comments that you ladies have already made but I will share a few things.
I think the brush sets this year are quite good. I got the one with the 190 in it (sorry, don't remember the name). The brushes are not the same quality as the full size but they are very nice and the sets are a wonderful gift or travel set. Kudos to MAC for listening to their customers about this issue. And the bag is so pretty. I can't wait to pack this for my upcoming business trip.
I got Later and Moonlight Night. Beautiful. Wanted TFC but it was just too dark for me to pull off.
The biggest surprise for me is that I loved Rockers and Reelers palette and didn't care for PIC. I am a huge purple fan and wanted that one so badly but it was an epic fail for me. The consistency of the darker shades was off. They seemed muddy in color and chalky in texture.
Love Hark the Heraldry face kit and don't have any of these colors so I knew this one was coming home with me.
Skipped all of the lip products and single eyeshadows. Pretty but dupeable.
Love pearlglides but only ended up with Black Swan. I have all of the others and wasn't impressed with LIU.
Another pleasant surprise was Sly as a Fox n/p. So pretty on all skin tones. I see myself wearing this one quite a bit this winter.
The packaging is just gorgeous. All in all while not outstanding (alas no Your Ladyship pigment or Queen's Sin l/s type of items) still a solid collection.

". And you know what he replied? "Hmm...someone's b'day is on Nov 7th. And I happen to get this mail about a cute teddy. I wonder..."

Is Her Blooming Cheek haul worthy?
I don't have any blushes THAT bright before. And is a bit worried that I might not be able to pull it off (NC20).

I feel like a 5 year old on christmas day!
I went to the counter in the end, and they had almost all that I wanted. The only thing I didn't find was black swan pearlglide. I don't know if I'm going to look for it somewhere else…I spent A LOT!
Here's the list:
- Coutying Lilac l/s --> unfortunately there was a mistake and they gave me cut a caper. I called and I'm going to change it as soon as I can
- Full fuchsia l/s ---> woooow! I wasn't sure about this, but it's so HOT. I never had such a bold lipstick
Nudes and neutrals kinda give me that "not really lipstick" sensation…like they are just like lipbalm with color
now I feel like a grown up woman ('t was about time eh?). Next step: red!
- The Faerie Glen --> how could I resist? A bit pale on me, makes me look like Angelina Jolie, if Angelina Jolie were fat and italian
- Play it cool palette
- A wish come true e/s ---> yes it is nothing special but I needed a pale pink for my "tired eyes days" and this is big, creamy, nice and it has the tartan pattern. who could ask for more?
- Glamora Castle --> just
I didn't have a decent gray in my stash. can you believe it?
- Undercurrent pearlglide ---> pure love! It's darker and greener than I expected, and both things are good. I think I can definitely try to pull it off.
- Petrol blue pearlglide ---> I think this will look awesome on my dark green eyes. I love how creamy these are…when I swatched them on my hand in the store I was amazed. I never found a liner that is so easy to apply yet so pigmented and resistent.
- All the pigments! And I will say nothing more about that. I just couldn't let them there.
- Viva Glam Lip Bag
- Vain and glorious Lip Bag ---> Actually, mellow mood looks very very similar to viva glam V lipstick. I just swatched it on my hand though. Oh well. That just means I have a backup I guess
- The brush set with the 187 --> I just couldn't resist. I needed it. Sob. The MA confirmed that it's a very good deal and that they often buy these sets for themselves.The 252 is softer than the one I had from another set, and all the others look/feel just fine to me. They're soft and beautiful and I love'em. And I'm not gonna let any unnameable girl convince me I wasted my money
I forgot radiant jewels dazzleglass. How could I? How? I was so excited about it.
I love fuchsia/hot pink/magenta/whatever lipglosses. I thought I had told the MA to put it in my bag but I guess I just got confused. Too much stuff to look at. I think I'm going to pick it up when I go to change the l/s.
I got both the fabric gift bags. I thought she was going to give me just one and I was not brave enough to ask for both, but I found them in my bag when I got home
what else? I don't know. I'm just so happy
