I wore Magnolia today for the first time! I love the colour on its own, it's the perfect soft pink!

It's my first true pink Chanel lipstick. I have many rose lipsticks from Chanel. When I layered Rose Dilemma over Magnolia, it became a girly pink.

Aahhh! I can't wait for the Chanel counter I go to here in Calgary, Canada to get this collection. I called today and they didn't get it in yet, they're gonna call me when they get it in =D

I really want the quad...really, really want it.

I keep telling myself I can find a way to recreate the look, but that doesn't squash the feeling that I NEED this quad. I go back and forth...trying to be good budget-wise and passing, and then 10 minutes later heading over to Chanel.com and adding it to my cart. I think the fact that it's still in my head means I should just get it. At this point if I let it sell out and I don't have it I'll panic, find it somewhere else for way more than normal cost, and then beat myself up about it for a while.

So it's decided. I placed my order 5 minutes ago (yay free shipping!).

Okay, that post made me feel your mental anguish! It's just as well that you ordered it! I really like it, I just wish the pink and light brown shade didn't have the amount of fall out they do, but they're both lovely shades. I was lying next to my son one night, and he kept staring up at my eyes, so I asked him what he was looking at... he said it was the sparkly make-up I had on! I tell ya, he looked almost hypnotized, lol! But then he added, "you gotta wash that off before you sleep mommy".

Pink Pulsion is definitely on the more sheer side for glossimers. It doesn't come anywhere near the color in the tube on my lips, not at all. It leaves behind a very slight tint of color with tons of gorgeous sparkle. Worn alone it's an ok gloss, but it really shines when worn over lip liner or lipstick. It looks fantastic when worn over something more opaque, the sparkles really come to life.
