i am loving the hot-pink cheeks that's so hot this fall...i have never liked bright pink blushes because I have always thought i was too warm toned to carry them but dollymix has proven me wrong! it's actually warmer than what it looks like in swatches
i bought chanel's tweed fuschia and thought i would be all over that, but i actually prefer mac's dollymix for the look i am going for here (mac nc25, dior nude 031). I think that my secret to applying heavily pigmented blushes like that is the 188...i totally scoffed at the 188 when i first saw it b/c i thought it was just a wimpy, gimmick version of the 187, of which i have two of, but the size works wonders for dispersing color evenly in a small area. with a blush like dollymix, i definitely don't want it all over my face
now i am regretting not paying attention to blushes like dollymix before in the past (have i missed out on many?)...even though my dollymix now barely looks touched, i am too OBSESSED to give this up...i really hope mac is coming out with dolly sisters in 2011
as for lips i can't leave my plumful alone right now...it's such a nice red without being RED...perfect for fall. i put a little bonnebell lipsmacker chapstick on and then apply it and it pretty much lines itself and somehow looks natural yet colorful....i will try to post a pic this weekend after my exam
