I finally put my hands on black swan! It's gorgeous. I'm gonna do it a smokey eye with it as soon as I can

I did a look today with Lord It Up p/g/l that got me a few compliments.

I just wanted something simple, so I tightlined the upper lid then did a smudgy, extended line on the lower lashline with LIU, then dusted the chocolate brown from Love to Love MES trio from In the Groove on the lids up into the crease and lightly highlighted with the pale beige from the same trio (using both powders dry with the 224 brush). Then a good coating of Opulash on the upper lashes only.

Used Bi-Tone MB lightly on the cheeks and the always glorious Go For It l/s on the lips.

I really LOVE Lord It Up - it's a very sophisticated shade (although now that I look at the rest of this look, maybe I should have stuck it in the In The Groove thread? Gosh, that's really a collection that takes a lickin' & keeps on tickin'!)

Got my last haul from this collection! The cool piggy set is all I was hoping it would be and more! Softwash Grey is so amazingly gorgeous! love love it!
Sir teddy keychain is so adorable. I love him.
I've been playing with the play it cool palette and am starting to like it. I've def got enough matte blacks to last me a long time. I love the greys in it actually, esp hold my gaze! I used it with the silver from rockers and reelers for a soft grey smokey eye and it turned out awesome.
I also got dare to dare l/g and its so purttty!

OT: Congrats to Ryan Reynolds for being dubbed sexiest man alive! He's always been my #1 perfect man!

[quote name="Goat Goat Etc." url="/forum/thread/165290/mac-holiday-2010-a-tartan-tale-discussion/5040#post_2053518"] Got to see the models on the TT Tour in Texas this past weekend!
These photos, bow/pin, and free storybook are all I'm taking away from TT. :>

That look sound gorgeous, thanks for sharing!

I didn't get Lord It Up, but now I'm re-thinking...it never ends!

Finally wearing my Undercurrent today. Just have that on with mascara, since I wanted the colour to be noticeable. Paired that with Show Orchid lipstick, so it's kind of a bold day today. I find that all teal-type shades make my eyes look darker for some reason. That's not a bad thing, it's just something weird that I've noticed. Very happy with the colour! I can't stop looking at it. My coworkers must think I'm incredibly vain, because I keep checking my mirror to get a better look.

I really like it, when I get my melon pig sample I'll try it with my push the edge. And I like your blog, nice to find inspiration from other mac fans with blue eyes.

I hope everyone is having a lovely Friday or what's left of it. I just wanted to repeat what's been said about this almost perfect lippie called The Faerie Glen. It is the perfect nude lip for me. I have really pigmented lips and I love it. The only problem is that it accentuates the icky dryness of my lips.. So one would have to make sure to exfoliate and moisturize before applying this lippie. Are all nudes like this or it it just the finish? I have Innocence, Beware and it has the same effect on me. I'm def backing up TFG and contemplating on picking up Cherish but is it going to settle into my imperfections as well?

Am I the only one who hasn't seen Melon pigment IRL. I guess so. LOL Could anyone describe it?

I didn't buy a lot from this collection, but quite happy with what I got. I got only four items: The Family Crest, Moonlight Night, Undercurrent, and The Faerie Glen. I cannot wait to play with them this weekend.
