I have yet to try Fix+, so perhaps this will be my opportunity. On the other hand, I'm not crazy about the smell of lavender and I don't like to spray things in my face, even if it's only a fine mist.

just get the normal fix+ then :) and you dont have to spray it on your face. you can dampen brushes with it and use it for foiling shadows and pigments :)

I plan on buying all of the lavender items (at least if they smell the way I think they will) since I love the smell. Scientifically, from what I can gather from scientific journals, there's no evidence both ways. No one can prove lavender does help oily skin nor can anyone prove it cannot. Lavender can irritate the skin if you're sensitive like any floral. There's a good article from Phytotherapy Research's journal about the issue, saying it's hard to test extracts (actual oils not perfumes) but that traditional medicines have used lavender for centuries. So both sides are pretty right, it depends on personal experience I think. Also, when buying essential oils especially online be really careful, lots of people get scammed.
Well, according to the so called cosmetics cop, the trouble with lavender is its irritating but the irritation is often not noticeable, but it does sort of insidious damage to skin. That being said, I love the smell! I also love the fix plus rose, I use it sparingly to avoid running out. I am not sure the potential irritation is worth the lovely aroma, but I am on the fence about it. I really value what Paula B has to say about ingredients in cosmetics, but now that she is selling products, I have to take what she says with a grain of salt...

Ugh, the quad I don't need, too many dupes and the highlight powder, while really cool in texture looks too shiney for me to really want to wear it. The lip gelees will only appeal if they lack super glitter sparkles of doom, as I find myself avoiding the glitter bombs lately. I don't see the point really in a flesh colored eyeball liner. I can get on board for a Feline, and teh smudginess actually appeals to me really. I also like pale lippies as much as teh next pale porcelain princess, but my interest in this collection is "paleing"

I highly believed I'd be passing this collection for awhile now, just waiting for swatches to confirm. I think I need to save for Peacocky and Mickey Contractor.

I just saw Erin's swatches @ allglam.com. They put their watermark on Erin's images. That's not cool.

This is not Erin's site, isnt' it?

Well, after wondering about it for a while, the palest gelee looks exactly like Resort Life, so scratch that. I'm a quad whore and I don't have any of the perm or repromoted colours, so I'm probably going to grab that. The colour that I'm assuming is Flustered persists in being prettier than I expected, so I still see that one as a possiblity. The peachy gelee as well. The highlight powders look too similar to things I already have. The big remaining question for me on this one is the paint pots. We shall see.

Thanks very much for calling these to our attention- I'd completely missed them!

I missed those pics, too, but I'm now loving the two middle lipgelees and of course, the eye liners. The paint pots are the only thing I'm unsure about.

For those who are unsure about the quad, I noticed that Karrie posted her version of it with permanent dupes for the limited colours on her blog.

(Hope she doesn't mind me posting the link.)

^I thank Karrie for making that post about the dupes of Caviar Dreams Quad. That quad is passable and I can get Brule and Retrospeck later while I can find Et, tu Boquet? e/s on ACW.

So I read through my missed posts while I had my turkey soup out of my left overs cooking on the stove. I think Im going to cross every lip gelee off my list I think their either ugly or similar to what I got. Paint potsI just want dangerous Cuvee I'm in love with my urban decay eyeshadow primer potion ever since I got it at the sephora friends and family sale paint pots tend to be crease city on me if I dont let them dry out really well before applying shadow. I still want the quad. I think Im down to wanting rose old beauty powder and not chez chez lame.
