I will probably still get the quint. It doesn't look to bad to me. I have a feeling those first two colors are under direct lighting, because the other three down the side of her arm don't seem that pearly/frosty. I'm on the fence about the grey liner. She says it's not worth it, but I really do like Chanel's liners. Meh, I might just get it anyway!

I bet you're right about that. They still somehow remind me of the duos that didn't work for me like Khaki and Misty Soft. I love the Taupe duo to pieces, but that's the only one that works on me. So I guess I'm skipping the quint more on the colors than the finish.

I'm iffy about the quint now. It looks so frosty in those swatches, and I'm not sure the colors will actually work for me. I need more swatches and info before I decide, maybe it's not as frosty as it looks there? I'm still super excited for the blush and lip stuff...hopefully we'll see some swatches of those soon!

Guerlain: I'm so tempted by that powder! I'll be very interested in hearing more about that.

hmmm, I'm very iffy on the quint as well - its just not doing it for me. I would've loved to have seen swatches of the quad & other lippies.

I got Bobbi Browns Warm Eye Palette today & I LOVE it on! It was sold out everywhere. I also got Too Faced Natural eye palette - so adorable & I love the colors on in it too.

sigh...Chanel needs to wow me with something.

I'm going for Guerlain too.... Chanel is just not making me smile now. I bought the Warm BB palette and have yet to wear it.. but I love the colours and textures.

^ absolutely right MJ... I spoke about Guerlain, or BB, or any other line other than the ACTUAL thread... some other ladies did and I did not see any real restrictions about such a preference or post. I apologize if I offended anyone. ...gotta rethink my time allotments for this forum. Sometimes it gets just dumb and dumber.

No I don't think there is any offending here. There aren't any strict rules here like there is on MUA I don't think. I love hearing what other things my Chanel girls are looking at.

I don't like how frosty the quint looks either but somehow I don't think those are the best pics. I will definately wait to see more until I make judgement. I really want to see swatches of everything as well. I'm trying not to jump the gun as quick as I usually do this time

Yes, in an effort to keep things orderly. People looking for information on Guerlain probably won't check the Chanel thread. No harm in talking about other brands in comparison to Chanel, but just make sure to also post any links to collection information and swatches in the corresponding brand thread.

I was thinking exactly the same. I've learnt through the past months not to make great expectations on several stuff until the release date is close since it may not arrive to Spain or if it does, it may only arrive to several boutiques not in my city (damn it for living in a small town!). Anyway, more blushes are always good news, but I am feeling more tempted right now about lip stuff, so I am hoping to hear soon from those new Rouge Coco in Boy and so on, and why not, the ones in the summer collection (lol, summer! And today I am freezing at work).

I am so with you. It's not fun to find out which store is getting what an when, if at all. Once in a while it would be nice that we also get one of the exclusive collections, but on the other hand one gets used to it and after all it's just makeup. Still, Chanel is a european brand.
Hope that the new lippies come soon. The more I use the Chanel lippies, the more I am falling in love with them all over again.
And this cold is just not funny any more

Here are the big points:
- Sam (the one on the left) is wearing Espiegle on her cheeks
- Around 6:41, Sam shows Pearl Drop and Black Pearl (in the bottle)
- Around 6:56, she shows the Ombres Perlees palette (closed and then open)
- Around 7:39, she shows fingertip swatches of the colors.
- Around 8:05, Nic shows the Black Pearl polish that she just applied on her nails.

The eyeshadows look SO pearly and finely-milled!!! The swatches on her pointer and middle fingertips literally look the exact color of a black and a white pearl. Gorrrgeous!! Ombres Perlees is back on my wishlist...

HerGreyness: you didn't do anything wrong! seriously I don't understand why some people post the weirdest things...I feel like I've talked about Guerlain more times out of the Guerlain thread than in the Guerlain thread, because the Guerlain thread is pretty much barren. Even if it were alive and bustlin', no one really cares...maybe some women are just intimidated by how much you know and your authority....

i think the upcoming quad is going to be less-than-stellar...3 light pinks and one dark green? it doesn't make sense because the other products in this launch are going to be amazing...it's like they don't want anyone to buy it...i am a quad collector and I don't even want to get the quad because there are so many other great products in this launch...

WOW the quint looks super shiny in that video. Bummer. I don't think I'll like that. Good for my bank account I guess but I think I may be disappointed in this collection. I think Black Pearl looks too metallic. I don't like metallic finish nail polish. I still think I'll love the JC and some of the lipsticks though!

I wonder if they just pulled it until the stock actually shows up? I called my favorite Chanel Diva at Nordies... she says they'll get it in a few days.
