Absolutely!!! Especially if you like Blushbaby, Prim & Proper, Darkly My Dear, Perfect Blush. It def. has a rose undertone to it.

I've never tried the blushes you mentioned, I always refused to have a closer look at any blush that is not pink, lol. The rose undertone in Sur is what makes me think it could work for me, I'll probably order it plus Gana blush, when the collection is online, which hopefully will be on Monday over here.

The Vampy Varnish swatches make me want Rani, too. We have similar looking skin tones, and it looks like it could be a fun/acid/80s sort of pink, kind of how Sassy Grass from Dare to Wear was an 80s green. I think I'll be ordering that one, too, since I cut Peacocky back a bit.
Soul Unique, I'm so sorry you didn't like Mehr. And as stupid as it may be, I'm still compelled to try it after your experience. I'm so stubborn.

Does anyone know if I can call a pro store and place an order and have it shipped to me? There are no local pro stores, I don't have pro membership, and no top selling stores around me for sure since I live near Detroit. Or can I just call mac pro and have it sent to me? I know before they changed the pro site you could call them and have pro products shipped to you even if you weren't a member. Gahh, I guess I could wait for the site but am terrified ivy and siahi will sell out before I can get it, I have to start back at work Monday.

I have no choice but to rely on swatches, and especially comparison swatches, as sadly I am nowhere near a MAC store or counter. MAC's own descriptions and online swatches are so far from the real thing it's ridiculous - that's the problem with computer generated colours rather than photographs. I appreciate that photographs can be misleading, and videos can also be dark, light or have a colour caste, from but with the comparison swatches there is usually at least one colour there that I already have so I can see if the picture is lighter/darker or whatever.
I'm very pale skinned, possibly something like NW15 I'm told, and absolutely love Blushbaby. I have no need for another so similar, though, so Sur is off my list.
I happen to agree that Oomph looks a mess - to me at least, because of the blackness. I prefer something where the green is more obvious. Marvel I am skipping because I have Push The Edge already, and am also planning on getting some of the Peacocky purples. Saffron is still a strong possibility.

Aw, thank you.well, I'm right there with you on the pink blushes for sure. Just seeing your picture - I personally think any of those above blushes would be stunning on you. but thats just me. Its a great shade if you are doing a stronger eye - or if you don't have time to do any makeup, you can just throw those colors on & it doesn't matter if you are wearing ANY other makeup - even foundation.
Those colors also make great sculpting colors for the face.

I saw the collection at the Pro Store and here are my impressions:
The blushes and Ivy fluidliner were already sold out. I think it launched last Thursday at their store so I am late to the party.
I liked both fluidliners and Mehr lipstick but passed on all eye shadows due to the Peacocky launch. They were ok but nothing really caught my eye. The quad color combo looked so pretty but I decided against it because I have got 3-4 carbon eye shadows in other random palettes. Also, the lustre texture of the two new shimmery eye shadows was just HORRIBLE! Totally gritty, little color payoff and lots of gold glitter. I was really disappointed. The other items that I was really interested in but won't work for me are Yash lipstick and Flesh lipglass. They both look like concealers on me.
I sometimes wonder if the production of lustre eye shadows is cheaper than veluxe or frost. There must be a good reason why MAC keeps launching lustres.

I was going to skip this collection completely, but Mehr is still haunting me. Everything else I have dupes for or I don't care about, but this lipstick, if it works will be amazing.
I'm so over Yash because I have Siss and 2 Honolulu Honey lipsticks by Nars. I don't even do nude lips that much anyway.

I shopped in a rush, so its my fault - there were like 6 of this 7 of that, one of this etc, so I was like yeah i'll take this and that - they didnt have anything on display to play with so I was unable to do swatches and just went with what i saw grrrr.bad idea and im paying for it now, so upset like you wouldn't believe!!

I am stupidly excited about this collection. It is the second collection I actually wanted from seeing the swatches alone..the first one was Graphic Garden.
I really want the Athma quad and I'm also thinking of picking up either Marvel or Oomph. I don't want any of the blushers as the swatches didn't excite me but lip wise I really want Yash. I know that blue toned pink lipsticks work well for my colouring but I have Revlon's Stormy Pink and that works well enough for now..
I'm quite impressed that they have a mixture of natural shades (I find it hard to find these for my skintone) and then also some brighter colours.. I didn't know that MAC re-released (is that the right word?) brushes with their collections but the addition of the 219 is genius as the smudgey eyeliner look is a very Indian thing..

I too am on the fence about Saffron
Elegant..lol... wasnt there a great song.. which kept repeating Can't touch this? ! I love that song.. lol.
I loveeeeee Saffron -- it is not chalky imo, but you have to test it to be sure it works for you....If you apply with a 222 or 217 you get a soft wash of warmth on your eyes.... only need one colour for this one too and it looks gorgeous on most eye colours.... use your pink blushes with this one tho.

I think there are some good lustres, but in general they could stop releasing them, majority of them is bad in quality. Bring back more matte2 and veluxe! So looks like I'll have to skip this collection since it's so limited. Many of these items seem to be the try-before-you-buy type of shades. Mehr was the number one on my list, and that I could buy without seeing it first. It's so very pretty. My sweetheart made me again a Mac giftcard, this time with M.Contractor's picture on it, but it's okay to use it on Peacocky instead.

Mac pro costa mesa, ca will take phone orders even from non pro members. The ma there was probably the sweetest I have ever talked to. They weren't even open yet and she answered the phone and took my order. That is amazing customer service. Anyway, I ordered:
