MAC x Mickey Contractor discussion

I got both fluidlines and Mehr today. (Really, it feels so strange that I was able to walk into my small store today while there's such a mystery about the stores in the US!) I went during my lunchbreak, and while ChamPale is apparently flying off the shelves in Germany, I had some virgin testers in my hands - people are obviously more into glitter...

If you have the chance, get Mehr. It's beautiful and my first matte l/s for that matter. On me, it exactly looks like it looks on Christine from Temptalia. LOVE!

Like Janice said, thte fluidlines are no-brainers, so I got both.

I also compared Too Chic, Chez Chez Lame and Gana, and went with Too Chic. For me, it was the smoothest and most shimmery with that wonderful golden sheen. I wanted to get ur, because I love Prim & Proper, but my P&P doesn't even has a dent in it, and MAC will release beautiful blushes in the future, I'm sure.

Pity we don't get Wet n Wild here, because I loved the quad - but decided to pass with Peacocky around the corner!

All this talk about Mehr is making me wonder if I need it. Strangely, I'd decided that I could pass until Temptalia mentioned that she thought it reminded her of Brave, but that she didn't have Brave to compare. I remembered that I'd bought it long ago, so I pulled out mine to see if I thought I agreed (I did). Of course, once I opened Brave, I noticed that it was getting that "crayon" smell that usually tells me it's time to part ways. I also find that, from the pictures, Mehr looks a little rosier than Brave, which would make it more appealing to me. And now that I see all the love it's getting here... Help me.

This collection is awesome if it brings out Janice to comment, WOW!.

Being very sick, I kept waking up and falling asleep today in sweats, and I would wonder to myself if the list was out yet...that caused me to have dreams, aka nightmares, about the Top 22 stores every time I fell back asleep!

I really hope it will be at a store near me and I hope I get better by Thursday for this and Peacocky.

& I'm trying to skip Oomph but everyone is saying not to

. Another reason why I hope I can swatch for myself.

A swatch comparing Brave and Mehr would be SUPER helpful...

Seriously. I am with you.

But I can just tell that Mehr is a deeper rose with more intense brown than Brave. I love Brave with Lust l/g, in fact. So I see why they put the two together.

Ugh, I'm still struggling with Mehr. I had written it off after Soul Unique said how awful it was, but someone on a blog with NC45 skin said it's incredible. I'm lost.

With Mehr I decided I don't wanna miss the boat. If it sells out and I don't get a chance to try it, I'll go and buy 10 other things trying to replicate the look and fail.

I think different people have different expectations of matte lipsticks and their opinions then vary strongly based on that. I've seen it look stunning on the lips of a few different bloggers, and heard from others that it feels and looks great so I'm giving it a chance to wow me!

Do you have any links to someone besides Temptalia and Karen from MBB? I need to see this on more people and I am coming up empty. I hate mattes, but I hear this one doesn't wear like a typical matte. I'm also thinking if this doesn't work, I can slap Lust lipglass on top and that should make it better. I think I better try this to be sure because it will sell fast.

so, i am on the phone again & she said the same thing as above, then corrected herself & said we could order from the reg. site on Thursday

The she said she was a temp - so God only knows..ugghhh

She now says only on the 6th! for the reg. site

Edited @ 12/29 at 10:24AM: JUST heard back from MAC HQ – they are confirming in-store launch in top 22 MAC Stores only, and they are working on a list. Due to the holidays, they can’t give me an exact date as to when they will have the list for me. LiveChat is reporting it will be online for everyone nearer to the official launch date.

Just called my MAC .....were not getting it The closest mac that will have it is in new york....
