They hold fine for me. I use Blacktrack and Blue peep a lot on the waterline and they're fine! Not sure if u're supposed to but I do it anyway

Here are some pics - my natural lip, Mehr, and Gulabi - sorry about the wacky lighting! I'll try again tomorrow in daylight, but I know some of you can't wait
I am SO in love with these colours! Mehr is a little darker than I was expecting it to be and it does pull slightly brown on me, but it is a gorgeous rosy-my-lips-but-better colour - definitely considering how pale I am today from being sick! This will be my new job interview colour paired with Viva Glam VI gloss, I'm thinking...
Gulabi is the colour that stole my heart! I have Petals & Peacocks, but I find that it's blue undertones are a little strong on me. Gulabi pulls more to the red side, and it is SO flattering! It somehow manages to brighten up my skintone, whiten my smile and make my eyes sparkle! (Or maybe that's just the excitement. lol) It's a grown-up take on hot pink, and I could totally rock this colour everyday. Plus, I love the amplified finish

Finally, there's Siahi. To me it's a stormy teal - sort of a cross between a darkened steel blue and teal. The formula is awesome, as is the colour payoff. This was the closest pic I could get that's true to colour:
All in all, I am super happy with my purchases
I'll be going on a no-buy after Peacocky until February, hopefully March! But I've got lots to play with and enjoy until then Hope this helps some of you with deciding and holding you over until your purchases come in!

I have been using both Siahi and Ivy on the waterline.. and they both make my kaka coloured eyes look a lot greener -- or yellower.. dunno but there is noticeable change.
Fluidlines work best if you wear contact lenses as there is less petrolatum in them and therefore they do not release much to film up the lenses.

My package just came in!!! I'm soo happy, because I've been home sick and miserable all day! From MC, I got Siahi, Gulabi and Mehr.

Thanks for the swatches Jenn! I'm starting to wonder if I should have gotten more than I did. I shouldn't for financial reasons, but I always think that I can earn money back, whereas things that I want aren't always going to be there... Yash and Gulabi are still floating around in my brain... We'll see whether I hold out. I just met the Dior Spring collection and the lippies in that are gorgeous, so I'm pulled in different directions...

No problem! It was literally the most exciting part of my day.
I know how you feel - I avoid looking at more than one company's collections at a time, so for now I'm sticking with MAC, just because I know I would fall in love with everything else!! Hopefully some stuff will show up in the Clearance Bin section or on Evil-Bay if you're still interested later, and they'll be cheaper

It's really a shame that a lot of us won't get to snatch this stuff up in store. I got what I wanted, but I know some of us didn't. Besides, I probably would've bought more if I had been able to really play with things like the concealer or Yash. Wait, I gotta see if Flesh is still available because I had wanted that one.

yea i think i would have gotten more stuff. i just got mehr, yash, (which i love better than siss or peachstock), and the quad. I was debating if i should get the corrector or flesh but since i had to second guess myself i decided to save the money and leave it for the people who wants it more

yeah, and i NEED another Saffron and would have loved to B2M for a backup. I am going to have to use the one I have in moderation. The satin finish makes it better than the mattes in this color range that I already use. i can use the mattes in the summer when i am extra shiny and saffon now, when the satin sheen brightens me up. I even experimented and used a little under the eye to see if it corrected some darkness i have under there and it kinda did. i would play with that some more, but i have to be careful since Saffron is so limited.
if the items are going to sell out at the top 22 stores. i hope not, then eventually, they will make a CCO appearance. one could only hope it goes down like that.

the more i look at myself with mehr the more i like it. My upper lip is a brown color and my bottom is more pinkish so its hard for me to really get colors that cover my lips evenly and still look good. Mehr did just that. I don't really see the brown in it which is fine by me. im so happy i got it before it sold out.
I'm not worried about backups because it takes a long time for me to even finish a lipstick because i don't wear it everyday.
