I still want Mighty Aphrodite blush, I like both of the MSFs, and I still want Marquise D'. The purple Opulash is on my maybe list.

I love Karen's WW comic strip but the collection is still "meh" for me.
I might check out Spitfire but it does look like a little pinker version of Style Curve and it doesn't look that opaque. Karen is saying in the comments Spitfire is the highlight of this collection so maybe I should give it a chance. It's going to be interesting to see comparison swatches. Athena's Kiss looks pretty on hand swatch but disappoints on lips, it's too sheer.
Whoever said Amazon Princess looked like Band of Roses was absolutely right! It looks like the satin version of it and I don't see the gold pearl in it. Karen said it's like Dollymix.
I might get Victorious, it seems to show well on lashes but it's a little lighter than I expected. Maybe I should've bought New Hue but I like the Opulash brush more.

So glad to finally see swatches! Also strange because my favorite MA just called to schedule me for the Wonder Woman makeover event they're having the weekend of Feb 11th.
Not sure if I still want the Valiant quad anymore. I think I can dupe some of those colors. But I do have to have both MSFs and both glitters. Wish the blush had more of the coral in it than the peach. Ah well.

Amazing how different everything looks on pale skin! The pink side of Amazon Princess looks like a light fuchsia and Spitfire looks a little deeper but I'm still not convinced I need them.

Just saw the swatches and this collection is still boring to me. Absolutely nothing stands out and I seem to have dupes (or better versions) of everything. Well, this is good for my no-buy. I might actually make it to March without any cosmetics purchase as I had planned

hmm, i really wanted a quad so i have some packaging, but i may just get couple lippies and a blush, nothing is shouting buy me! oh well

I'm probably just gonna get marquise'd lipstick and maybe a blush and lipglass. I was gonna get the lady justice quad, but I was at cvs yesterday and they had a big sale for 50 to 75% off certain cosmetic items. I picked up a maybelline expert wear quad in sapphire ice for 50% off and it looks almost identical to the quad. I adore Karen and her sense of humor. However, her swatches continue to perplex me. In my way of thinking, these colors should pop more on darker skin, but hers show otherwise. When I swatch colors on myself and then my friend who is much darker, it pops more on her. Mighty Aphrodite looks great in the 2nd set of swatches, but muddled on Karen, herself. Go figure. I'm just getting Russian Red lipstick. That's a huge, huge shocker! It's really nothing! Spitfire looks good and Athena's Kiss goes well with it but I am in love with Gulabi and don't need Spitfire and I am moving away from gloss, so no Athena's Kiss. I'm pretty happy about this.

Spirit of Truth Nail Lacquer looks too much like Blue India nail lacquer and I just got another one of those from my CCO.

Well I still like the mascaras the most. The MSF is off my list now, it's so different of what I imagined. Mighty Afrodite was beautiful on Karen's skin! But, I don't know how it would look on mine. So that's a question mark for me. Spitfire is gorgeous, but like others have said, it does seem like Style Curve. I might B2M it. And Athena's Kiss was so vibrant on the swatches, but on lips it was more subtle. Emancipation looked also very very sheer.
But the nail lacquers surprised me positively! I hope the formula is spot on.

The NW20 swatches are convincing me this will be even easier to skip! The one thing I think I may pick up is the penultimate liner. The packaging is phenomenally tacky and I've been wanting to try it forever, so I think I may get that and nothing else.

I have to see if I can rustle up a comic strip or something fun and collectable from the collection, because I love the artwork on the boxes. love love love it! i am hoping there is a preview somewhere around here. MAs told me to call back and check cause they may have an event sooner than the 11th. I'll be on that case tomorrow!
Now about what I am seeing now.. before Temptalia.
Blush Duos are like Blush 2/3s. I mean the colors aren't 1/2 like I thought. That could be a good thing because the dark 1/3 part of Mighty Aphrodity looks a heck of alot like Bite of an Apple... I would rather have 1/3 of a color like that than 1/2. KWIM? I can't decide if I want Mighty Aphrodite or Amazon Princess... I am into Coral Blushes right now, but I have BoA, NARS Gina and NARS Gilda I wonder if getting Mighty Aphrodite will be overload? I don't have anything pink like Amazon Princess so I can be easily swayed that way... damn decisions. I surely want the compact. I am going to change it out all the time.
Secret Identity looks like a very pretty color so far. I wish it was a flat color with no glitter in it though. The glitter factor will be the deal breaker for me. I find that color to be the most unique of the glosses. It looks like a lighter version of the Pret-A-Papier gloss from last year.
Lastly, I may haul the Golden Lariat MSF. Its kinda pretty and the size of it is a riot! We'll see how it looks on. I hope its not great, cause I am trying to stay on a budget...
can't wait for Temptalia's swatches... Soon I hope, she's on west coast time, so its still early there!
