MAC - Wonder Woman Discussion

The pre-release party is tomorrow evening (my first ever I was invited to) and my list is still in tact. I'm sure I will drop one or two things after viewing them in person. I am so excited about the packaging so I have to get something or I'll regret it. I can see a lot of this stuff ending up in the CCO, but I have yet to visit a CCO and I don't go often so I might as well get these things now.

At this point, I'm still staying with just Marquise d' and Emancipation. I'm not super excited, but they seem to be great colors, so I'm not going to pass.

I will be that really annoying girl who runs to the MAC counter on the release day. I will friggin' cut a bitch over Pink Power. That's mine, no matter what.
However, I'm slowly cutting down my list. Really only Pink Power, Mighty Aphrodite, Marquise D' and the black Opulash has me drooling anymore. As much as I adore the lipstick packaging, my wallet is begging me to purchase Russian Red later on and just pass on it this time. After all, it is permanent.

I'm really anxious to hear reviews about the mascaras on darker lashes. For me I love would that the color shows but if they are too vibrant I'd look like a clown at my age, but that would be so fun for you younger ones.

I've pretty muched crossed the green palette off my list with little hope of it being worth the $, but I will still check it out in person. You guys going to events make sure you let us know your thoughts on it all. I'm still undecided about the mirror. I haven't seen what the size of it is, mainly this is for the collector (MAC hoarder) in me.

I saw the swatches, and despite the overall meh reviews, I'm still excited for this. I really REALLY love the packaging, so that may be swinging me a tiny bit

those are nice products anyway and even though you have to cut your list at least it happened with this so-so collection, not one where everything is awesome right?! and i'd go for the hot pink blush on your skin - it'd look lovely!

I think I am going to try to preorder the collection tomorrow.

So far this is my list:
- Marquise D' l/s
- Spitfire l/s
- Athena's Kiss l/g
- Pink Power MSF
- Either Mighty Aphrodite or Amazon Princess (I'm an NW20 with dark brown hair and I like to do pink lips often so I'm leaning towards AP, any suggestions on which I should choose?)

Sorry to hear about your monetary setback. Hope it gets cleared up soon! Enjoy your smaller haul nonetheless. I'm jealous of everyone who can wear Heroine because it looks sooooo pretty. I just can't pull off a bronze.

I think that the pink blush (Amazon Princess) would look wonderful on NW45 skin.

Thanks Shontay. Strangely enough, I think those swatches made me even less enthusiastic... I'm still tossing around the idea of making a purchase, because I feel like I'd like to get at least one of the little packages.

[/quote] You're welcome. I'm not getting a damn thing! I'm standing firm on it now. There are other products from upcoming collections and other brands that really excite me. I do love the packaging, but I just can't do it. I can't see myself reaching for these products.
