I honestly didn't look at AP blush...I have too many pink blushes. I know, I know you can never have too many, but I just don't wear them enough to buy another. But, I think MA is the shit, it's not super corally, it's a softer slightly pinker version of Ripe Peach. But, I know you & the pink blushes...screw it! Go for it!

Thanks for all the reviews ladies! So glad everyone is loving MA, I'm so excited for it. For those who have Pink Power, is the middle part orange in real life? I'm NC15 so I'm pretty pale. I might have to go to my MAC counter when it gets released in store just to check out everything else I didnt get, esp if Pink Power is nice.

i LOOOOOVE coming home from work, running straight to the comp and logging on to specktra to see what's been going on for the 10+ hours since i last logged on!!!

first of all, Goat Goat Etc. thanks for the pics of the makeup bag, even though i ordered the red one, i am seriously contemplating getting the blue one too.

and I so hope that tote is around for my birthday...that'd be an awesome present along with everything else haha.

You are about to read the confessions of a TRUE cosmetics addict.
Yesterday I went to the unveiling event at Aventura Mall in Aventura, FL. As usually the place was rammed with other ladies and gents trying to get their Wonder Woman on. Here's the confession piece. I had some SERIOUS dental work earlier that same day. I took my pain meds clenched my jaw shut and got a friend to go with me to the event!

They were serving cookies and mini red velvet cupcakes that I could only look at. *sighs* Not to mention the dentist told me that alcohol was no no for atleast 48 hrs. *double sigh* Oh well my semi drugged up self managed to focus enough to get to all the stations and swatch like a maniac.
Station #1 The Quads: No bueno!! Chalky!!! And very dupeable.
Station #2 The MSFs/Lipsticks/Blushes: My favorite MUA at that store was "guarding" this station and she and I got to talking about the products. I mentioned that I missed Ripe Peach last year and she INSISTED I get MA. So I did. I also got AP because I love a bright blush. So with my products in hand I wobbled my way over to the counter. But not before looking at the mascaras. I got the blue one because the one from Maybelline was #FAIL. I hope I'm not setting myself up for disaster.

Completely off topic: I think I saw a fellow Speckrette at the event. So if you were being started at by a tall girl with a HUGE curly fro that didnt see able to stand up straight. It was me!

I like the tote more than any of the makeup products from this line. The tote is my only "must have & will stalk the website for" item from this collection. Don't get me wrong - I am excited for the WW makeup that I ordered. I am just not excited to the level that I was for VV, Barbie, Stereo Rose, Marine Life, etc....

It is interesting to that PP is the only product sold out on the US site.

I read that somewhere too. I would have LOVED for MAC to put that little comic strip in a commemorative booklet. I would have brought that. Probably couldn't do it cause they would have had to break the artist off way more $$$ than intended. then there is fees to DC comics and all that. oh well. That would have been nice. One could only dream, lol.

Anyone who has seen Spitfire IRL, please tell me its different from Raddiccio? Otherwise its going back. I should have gotten RR instead! I can't believe that tote bag--it is WAY too cute. I think it worth the cash, but I am not gonna spend it. Good luck getting one anyone who wants it though. On the other hand, I am so stoked I got the blue makeup bag after GoatGoat's pix! thanks for all the lovely posts. I just got a confirmation email my order shipped. now the wait begins for the little black box.

Yes it's different from Radiccio. It looked too bright of a pink to me compared to it. Radiccio is more purple then Spitfire.

I'm an NW20 but more not yellow as MAC's foundations are. An exact color to compare me to is Estee Lauders Double Wear in iC1 shell. I'm almost exactly that color My lips are average pigmented I'd guess you'd say.
