MAC - Wonder Woman Discussion

^ It is too bad that there is no mirror in the MSFs. It seems like it is missing something.
I noticed some people don't make this connection (especially in some of those online reviews), but perhaps the inspiration for the giantor sizes is due to the fact that Wonderwoman is an Amazon hence "amazon princess". I loved Batman, X-men, Spiderman, etc while I was a kid, so this collection does appeal to me. I think it is pretty neat that the glosses are huge and the compacts as well xD It would have been nice for MAC to do a Wonderwoman for MAC figurine collectable.

I'm sorry for the girls that received blushes that were broken and packages missing. I do hope you all get them soon. I'm now scared to order Amazon Princess and possibly a backup of Mighty Aphrodite Blush Duos online. I'm still thinking about if I should order Golden Lariat MSF...

I think I'm going to wear Amazon Princess with Gulabi tomorrow. The problem with buying so much damn make up is that you never know what to use first. You're so excited you want to throw it all on at once. That's the combo I've come up with. I have yet to wear Gulabi outside and I want to try one of these WW blushes. I'll just throw on some liner, mascara and go. Can't wait to see how they both wear throughout the day.

I am loving what I got. The Mighty Aphrodite blush looks amazing on my NC20 skin. And the Marquise d' lipstick is perfect! I think I need a back up.

I am still going to MAC on Friday to check the mascara's and the Spitfire lipstick out.

I wish the lipgloss was smaller and not so hard to open. I hope they re-release Athena's Kiss in regular packaging.

Anyone like the way Amazon Princess Blush looks on NC20 skin? I want to get it but not if it is going to make me look like a clown.

I am also loving Marquise d' l/s. I'm NC15 an it is a color I can throw on and not even look in the mirror while doing so. I agree with you I may need to back it up. I'm sure the color may come back around but I am quite enjoying the feminist bullet.

I don't usually wear bright lip colors so I'm kind of afraid the other l/s colors.

I wore Mighty Aphrodite today and got a little too happy so had to buff it out, again afraid of too much color. I wear brights on my eyes with no problems. I guess I need to venture out a bit of my box because I love the brighter colors on all you guys.

So I'm at work (get me out of here, please) and I'm wearing amazon princess. It's amazing. It's so pigmented and so easy to blend out. I love that I can apply the lighter side and make it as dark as I want with the smaller portion. I started out wearing mehr and lust on my lips but after lunch I am going to put on gulabi. Man, I got so many lip products that I have to wear two a day. :lol:

good for you Shontay.. that happens to me alot.. which is one reason I many times buy 2 of each colour.. when I am at work I might not be able to use a particular tester and then I have an outside meeting.. and I didn't put the ls in my bag or the blush, or whatever.. and I wind up putting on anything that's in my purse .

Mighty Aphrodite is so gorgeous, I think everyone should get one! And the Victorious masacara is nice as well. I still haven't tried the lg. They're huge!

I've decided I'm going to return the 2 quads I bought, and only keep 3 of the l/g and Spitfire. Looking forward to receiving my PP and both blushes. I have to say that this collection didn't WOW me like I thought it would.....

Today I did a smokey eye with Moonlight Night on the outer 1/3 but blended in more then Silver Fog blended over with Frostlight f/l in the inner 1/3. I also used a little Knight Divine in the crease above i MN....oh and BLackLine e/l The Marquise D goes really well with this look

Marajode, I love the glosses! But as someone else stated, you have to be careful pulling the wand out. The wand makes me laugh - it's HUGE! I have a small mouth so I hope I don't end up looking like Meg Ryan after I finish applying it!

Katred, I know what you mean about the mega metal shadows following you home - I think I left only 2 behind.......

I'm definitely thinking of going back to the store I know has pretty much all of them left. For some reason, the differences in which stores sold what from this collection is hugely variable between locations. It's a little weird, because I've never seen that happen before.

As far as the glosses are concerned, I was more tempted by WW l/g than I thought I would be, because it is a lovely colour, but that huge doe foot seems like it would be frustrating for precise, even application and as we were looking at them, The Great Enabler splattered himself taking out one of the wands. Too risky. Besides, I have Cult of Cherry, which is pretty similar from what I can tell.

Ignore the eyes, as it was just something I was playing around with, but I figured I'd post the picture anyway, since you can see what Army of Amazons mascara and Mighty Aphrodite look like. I'm pretty impressed at how well the green shows in Army of Amazons, but I will say that my eyelashes are fairly light, so they may show the colour more.
