Shontay, you look pretty! Love the lip color! Wish that collection was sold in stores so I could have tried that lipstick. Didn't want to risk it. But I see it looks great.
Honybr, Don't forget to try the light part of MA with Bite of an Apple too. I was thinking of using those two together, cause I can see myself hitting the pan fast on the dark side of MA. I also think the light side of MA will work with NARS Gilda. I also think the light side of MA will look great over the Fabulush CCB. And you can add your coral type blushes over that.


So I had a chance to see more of the collection and Secret Identity is my favorite lip product thus far! Its a great neutral and is going to be my go too for the spring and summer. I have been looking for something like this for a while and it kind of reminds me of NARS Luster gloss, but maybe more brown. This lipglass formula is not sticky at all, not overly shimmery and I love that!

AP: I am passing. I could pull it off, but personally, its just not the type of pink blush I could love. I like my pink blushes more on the deeper side. I am sure MAC will put something on the deep pink side later this year, knowing them.

Spitfire. VERY PRETTY and unique. I haven't seen this version of pink-purple come out from MAC yet. Its more purple and I think it would look good on the cheeks too. It looks good under Secret Identity also. I'll haul those later this week and I am done.

I heard counters received like 2 of the MSFs. and they are having events. I can feel a frenzy coming on. To me it looks like this: MAC sends 3, 1 for testing and 2 for selling. Those are of course are going to sell right away, making it easy for the MAs to offer similar "suggestions" and sell from the perm line. MAs push older product to sell with new lipsticks and shadows. Its a win for them.

I hadn't thought of combining MA with BoA. Thanks for the idea!

I was the same with my mailer. I wanted to save the stickers from getting torn, and didn't want to tear the mailer. I steamed them off.
I'm such a dork.
But I wanted to put the stickers and the mailer in a protective sleeve for future scrapbooking. that I haven't done any of in 8 years, that I'm sure I will again one day.

Ha. At least that's what I'm telling myself, and how I rationalize it. It is all just too cool looking to toss. I love that artwork.

I got my Wonder Woman mailer from Macy's today! I haven't opened it yet because I don't want to break the pretty wonder woman stickers!

Got my goodies from my online order today. They actually shipped AP blush wrapped in bubble wrap, which I've never seen them do before.... maybe because they've been having so many problems with people's blushes breaking? Anyways it arrived all in one piece, so I'm a happy little girl.

I loveeeee the packaging so so much. It's screams Wonder Woman, I really can't see how some people didn't like it.... it's screams comic book to me. Love it!

The large lipglosses were a little bit to get used to opening and the applicator is HUGE, so I'll just have to be careful when applying. Lippie swatches coming from me soon!

Secret Identity is really nice! I really like the way it feels on.

I got my mailer today and I love it. It has the comic strip in it, and aside form MA and SI lipglass, its my favorite item from the collection. I am so glad, cause i really wanted some of the artwork. I thought MAC forgot about me because I heard so many others received theirs already. Nice surprise.

I am going to go to the teacher's store and have it laminated so I can make it a real keep sake. I love the part where WW Medusa is battling WW and you can see Medusa's reflection in WW's gold bracelets. So much detail!

Lastly, just a suggestion, I really think if anyone wants blue shadows to go with the collection, to try the Sea and Sky MES. The color payoff is HOT and I think the darker blue is better than Deep Truth. The light side of Sea and Sky also rivals those light colors in the Lady Justice pallet. Check it out, and you spend 1/2 the money.

My little delicate babooshka (MA).. all I can see is it's fragile little self broken, shaken, and stirred.

I'm still being told it's "not necessarily lost" bs bs, blah.

But I don't know. The first package has been sitting in a station for 6 days, with no activity.
the other in Maryland, for 5 days. (this one, UPS says to call tomorrow, if not delivered, start investigation, yadayada)

I've never really had this problem. I don't know whether to push it and be a bitch, or what.

(chanting, it's just make up, broken, probably, but just makeup. ) sigh, deep cleansing breaths.

What are the freaking odds that both of my dang orders would be lost (or whatever this limbo is).

I got a laminater for Christmas. (cheap one) Because I love to laminate. Like, I am a laminating machine. No lie. I"ve pretty much laminated everything around the house. I've just about laminated the cats. They better not sit still too long.
I'm going to do the same to this mailer. I kind of want to blow up 2 of the sketches and make posters though. So I will wait til I figure out that first. (dorkarooni)

Elegant, I agree with Marajode - BE A BITCH!!!! If you knew me in real life, you'd know that I am one of the most gentle, patient, smiley people on the planet. But if there were issues like this for my packages, I'd be biting someone's ear off about now!!!! Generally, I like to start of calm, patient and pleasant until I get to speak to the person I wish to speak with. Then if I don't hear what I'd like to hear, I let all hell break loose. And not in the screaming through the phone type of way. In the "Let me very plain and clear about my expectations, and what will happen if they are not met" slow, dead whisper. Extra emphasis on each syllable and dramatic pauses between each word. Freaks 'em out every time.
