Ya I agree with Mrslid, I get really frustrated with Canadian pricing sometimes too, specially give the strength of our dollar. But it's not like I buy Chanel all the time. It's an occasional indulgence for me. I know for sure I won't be paying $44CAD for rouge Coco shines though :/

Despite my frustration with shopping in Canada, I wouldn't trade off the many benefits we have living here

I know the CAD quite well mrslid.. I trade it all the time.. but currency is not the only issue for pricing.. you would have to be familiar with bilateral treaties, GATT and many ICC requirements in order to go get your pistola.. lol

buying Chanel (it's a french company) is not being a traitor to Canada.. but not buying Chanel is a capital

Yup I definately must plead ignorance on this front! I just meant being a traitor spending my $ in the US instead of Canada, not about purchasing Chanel. Don't worry I would never dream of not buying Chanel. Ugh the horror!!

Oh, that crazy Chanel lady I mentioned, I couldn't get any other Shine ls info out of her. I've heard the stores would have them March or April.

She wears her leopard print reading glasses way down on her nose but rolls her eyes up in kind of a blank stare while she's trying to figure it out. I just stand there & keep waiting for the cuckoo bird to fly out of the clock to see if anyone is still there

So, I may change what I'm going to wear. I bought a $300 Max Azria dress for $70 WOOT in the 'new' blue color. Dang thing fits like Spanx

Very true. Plus, if I want to engage in some treasonous cross-border shopping, I live about an hour from the border... TGE and I keep meaning to take a trip, so we can come back with a haul of various sorts of goodies.
