I know - it's so hard from swatches...none look as plummy as I would have expected from Karla's chart. Well at least I can rule out Canotier as it looks like all pearl and no color.

If you look at this chart Karla posted again vs those swatches it looks like they'll be doing some region-specific colors...again. Grrr

On Karla's chart but missing from the french swatches are Romance and Sari d'eau and in the swatches but not on Karla's chart are Antigone, Escale and Misa. Could be more differences too because I didn't look that carefully.

I wore the new Aqua foundation today & I am in love with it! So soft, natural & light.

I'm betting they're doing regional colors too......I hate that! I like the looks of Antigone! I guess we'll have to wait until we get closer........

These swatches look great!

Elegant, glad you're loving the foundation! I'm going to wear mine to work tomorrow for the first time.I think - it's between that, the LM and Chant samples I have......decisions, decisions. I may hold the Chanel samples until the weather warms up a bit - I still feel like I need a bit more coverage. But who knows. I'm fickle.

And yes, I'm betting Rose Taffetas on Camilla Belle......

Man, that sucks! Flying Cloud really jumped out at me in those swatches.

But I'm so happy we finally have SWATCHES of most of them. I nearly cheered out loud when I saw mrslid's post.

I guess my list for now is:
- Aventure or Romance
- Liberte or Sari D'Eau
- Bonheur or Elise

Not 100% sure yet since there haven't been any swatches of Romance, Sari D'Eau, or Elise popping up. I definitely want one from the pink family, one from the peachy family, and one from the berry family though--I told myself I'm allowed to get 3 of these, max, so I have to spread myself around the color families!!

Skipping the nude family because none of them are really drawing me in, though Deauville does look quite nice in the swatch and Canotier could be promising if it isn't super frosty.

I hope they all have that nice, balm-y texture that Boy does.

^^ Well unless you're coming with Shypo and I on our trip to Paris to pick up Antigone, I think you're going to have a hard time finding Misia and Flying Cloud to swatch.

I'm going to copy my post from Chanel Spring thread, for those who haven't seen.

There seem to be region-specific shades.

Those we're getting in Europe (or at least in NL and France) are:

47 Flying-cloud - light-ambery peach tint (named after Coco Chanel's favourite sailboat)
50 Rivage - light coppery fresh peach tint
58 Royallieu - bright, fresh and subtle pink tint
Antigone - light ambery- fresh intense pink tint
Misia - light coppery fresh apricot tint (named after Coco Chanel's best friend Misia Sert)
Escale - light-rosy peach tint
Prémice - light-ambery rosewood tint
Sorry for the crappy descriptions, I was just quickly translating from Dutch.

The colours soo similar in the swatches, it's difficult to make a choice! I hope more will come soon, and otherwise I'll have to annoy people at a local counter next week.

*Edit It is also possible that the extra shades are coming to the US later, or they were added to the range recently, after that chart was released?

I think you're right about them being region-specific shades since the US also seems to be getting some that are not in the swatches from France (Sari d'eau and Romance). Although Chanel has been known to give Saks, Neimans, Nordstrom (or themselves online) an exclusive LE shade or two....they might do that with some of the missing shades. Thanks for the descriptions. Now that you've reposted I vaguely remember your earlier post! lol Hard to keep up on here sometimes!

My son comes back from South Africa in May - if he connects in Europe, I may have him go to the DF store......

I got my Joyeuse yesterday!!!

^^ Enjoy your new l/s!

Thanks, Elena! Yes the peachy RC Shines look so similar in the swatches, but I'm drawn to Flying Cloud at the moment.

Oooooh thank you so much for that list. I agree with winthrop, it's so difficult to keep yourself updated! By the way Elena, maybe you have already answered this but, do you know when are they release in Europe?

Thanks again! Yes, truthfully alot of them look similar in swatches and since they're so sheer they'll probably look even more similar on lips.
