well insanely it is the next lipstick i shall buy from mac. it looks so pretty in the swatches. i am hoping that i might be able to buy it thursday or friday this week because i shall be going to manage a different store in a huge shopping centre where i think there is a mac store!

If they have the NEW dior lip shines, you should check those out - they are wonderful! They beat everybodys. Lt Pink is gorgeous on.

The MAC Sheen are much thicker & some what dryer in consistency & more pigmented than the Chubbies. The Chubbies are also a bit sheerer

I was thinking about Look at Her! I swatched it in the store and it looks so pretty on my skin. I think that will go on list for next trip as well

Sephora has a lot of the exclusive colors. I think there are 54 new shades!
They are in that kinda bubble/iridescent looking tubes.

If you haven't already, you guys should check out the Fashion Week makeup at MAC's site. I love the Donna Karan lip! Its interesting to see what the artists choose to mix together.

I went and played about with some of these yesterday but wasn't sold on any of them. Admittedly they didn't have Ultra Darling which I really wanted to try. I think I'll have to go back another day and try again!

I went to have a play at the Mac counter today and tried full speed on. At first i loved the formula and colour but after about 15 minutes my lips felt like the sahara desert ! Boo, im really disapointed.

Got New Temptation a bit ago & it is a lovely red on. On me, its more of a brighter pink based red but does not look as blood red as it does in the promo pic. So, I am gonna have to find out what else they used...unless someone already posted that info & I missed it.
So if you look at the NY Fashion week on the mac site, they (Schouler) used Stone lip pencil on the eyelid as an es...hmmm, doesn't look like the color Stone to me at all....so I tried on my eyes, Stripdown lip pencil instead - & it looks just like the color on the lid in the pic - I LOVE how it looks.
Stripdown LL on the eyes, Dirty GPS as the liner, Pink Cult on the cheekbones & New Temptation on the lips....well I loved the look...very subtle glam & day wearable.

So, i just got off the phone with MAC cs & yeah, she pretty much didn't want to answer my above 2 questions & really didn't know anything for sure *rollsmyeyes"
She tried to tell me that its probably just the lighting that is making the promo shot look like a dark red....I dunno if I believe that one. I am wonder if maybe they used a slight application of Quite the Thing with New Temptation over it. Maybe it is just the lighting. I wish MAC would put below the promo pics the names of the products used in it.

Also, just want to thank you for the pics you took of those Dior lippies. I really want to play with those. You're welcome on the Dior pics doll! Yes, you do really have to be careful about the sucky Sephora swatches - they are not reliable. Shypo bought some of the other colors that I did not get & she did say they were a bit different looking. But I love love love those 2 that I got. They have THE best formulation of anything I've tried.

Sephora has a lot of the exclusive colors. I think there are 54 new shades!They are a lil pricey @28 but they feel divine on the lips. They have color - not as sheer as the chubbies and not as heavy as MAC Sheens. They are perfect! I bought the Lt. Pink 554 & a Berry Pink 778. Beautiful on!!!
