macy's sold out of CYY too. i knew that one would sell quick. im going to check out the other collection

wow they told me the same thing when i asked when this would be up! they said we do not have a confirmed date! & they asked if i signed up to received the MAC emails!
they don't care at all. screw it. i say order from the dept stores and keep it moving. im disgusted right now

Is it just me or does the company's service seem to have gotten worse since they were bought out by EL? I would be curious to hear from some of our great members who have worked with the company what they think as well as other long time customers.

I have a theory - Maybe the other online retailers complained that they are not getting enough sales do to Mac launching first - so they are giving those online retailers (Macys, Nordies) a chance at the first sales. just a thought - & most did order from the other retailers first because of the delay. What else could be the reason

hey don't knock the fact that us European guys got the collection first! we are never usually that lucky! lol!

Could be. Especially Macy's since they tend to get things so late anyway. I will be curious to see if my Nordie's order is ready soon. When I checked my store availability it said all products were available (in real time) at my favorite counter. But when I pulled the order summary up it said "expected ship date 4/19". Not that I care either way but a.) I am not having anything shipped and b.) I do believe my store has my choices available.

And, Miss Elegant, once again our shopping lists are identical.

EDIT- I just got email confirmation from Nordies that they are pulling my stuff today at my local counter. YAY for Nordies!

i'd suggest to everywhere who has a MAC counter near them (i have 2 about an hr away and 1 thats an hr and a half away. i'm not running there for anything...i just pop in to the counters when i'm over there) to just go to the counters and get your stuff if things aren't up on MAC's site by tomorrow.

I ordered from Macys early this morning thanks to you girls :eek:). My order confirmation stated that shipment should occur by the 7th. I ordered Sakura, Quite Cute, Badly Bare, and of course Candy Yum Yum. Like others have stated, Cover Girl Lip Perfection Divine is a good dupe for Playtime (Divine may be a tad bit pinker). I hate the taste of it but only paid $4.99 during a Rite Aid sale and the texture is great.

OMG I SWEAR I WANT TO SCREAM EVERY CURSE WORD AT MAC's ONLINE HELP TODAY!

They were like "Go check out the collection at a store near you, it launches Thursday. We do not pre-order collections online."

And all I asked was if I could order through them on the phone for this collection and if they ask for my CC info or just pull up my account.

MORONS

I just ordered a back up of "Candy Yum Yum" through Nordstroms to pick up. And my other items this morning through MACYS.

I really wanted to order a back up or the CYY lipstick through mac, but this way picking one up at a store I know it won't be melted.
I have had a few lipsticks from MAC delivered perspiring and or melted on the sides. ugh.
