April, do the bronzers have noticeable shimmer in the sun?

Yes I'm dying to know this too. I don't need it to be matte but I don't want big shimmers like Espeigle. If it is the super fine evenly dispersed shimmer that just gives a sheen to the skin I will be pleased. No glitter or random sparkles though!

Help I'm so lost!! I don't know if I want Aurore or Aurore and Pensee or NO glossimers??!! I'm thinking Aurore for the fabulous fine shimmer even though it's sheer. How pigmented is Pensee though. Maybe it's a pass? I do think I want the Rose bronzer as long as it's not shimmery/glittery. If it's the lovely very fine shimmer/glow that is in some JCs then I will love it.

I know I am getting Aurore and Pink Peony. Even though I have a lot of pink glossimers -- they all look different on me. I don't mind the sheerness -- because Mica is one of my faves to layer over lippies and it is sheer. I just think they give the most amazing shimmer! So, if you love glossimers -- I say go for it!!
I am thinking Aurore will look amazing over my MAC Marquise D lippie! Cannot wait to get my hands on them . . .
I hope the Rose bronzer isn't shimmery -- it looked more matte in the pan.

Same here, mrslid! I just don't know what to do anymore. I think I'm going to skip the glossimers entirely. They are sooooo beautiful, but I know in my head that the colors aren't overly unique. Not to mention, I have been really hooked on Chantecaille's Brilliant Glosses lately, so I'll just find a similar color in that line. I think. :haha: The Chanel people shouldn't give us so long to think about this, it makes my decision-making much more careful (and thus less $$ is spent!).

I wish I could answer that but I live near Seattle and we haven't seen the sun in weeks.

I don't see any noticeable shimmer indoors if this helps some.

I swatched bronzers again today. They do have some shine, not glitter. It is noticeable in direct light

Yes, but it is very very fine. The one that you can see in direct light or sunlight.Not the one you can see all the time.

OK I think I've managed to talk myself out of Rose Bronze again....phew.

Can anyone compare Aurore and Pensee to Coral Love from Fall? Compare the shimmer size, color and pigmentation? I have Coral Love and think maybe I can skip these because of that? Unless the shimmer in Aurore is that much finer/smaller and more uniquely colored and unless Pensee is a lot more pigmented?

The quad is pretty but I have similar shades in my collection already, so I skipped that. Cannot wait to get everything I ordered!

I have a question... I noticed that on chanel website they don't charge tax.. I have never ordered from the website. ( I don't have patience to wait for my order to arrive) but I am on submit ur order page & no tax.. If this is the case I should cancel my pre order with nordstrom ( I am in California & here we pay 9.25% tax) The extra money I'll pay in nordies can buy me with few additional $$ a new RCS...Anyways they are getting collex in April end so that is taking even longer..

This collection has started to lose its appeal to me and I haven't even seen it yet :/ I might just get the pink nail polish (Morning Glory?). Nars' summer collection looks much more interesting to me...

Though I will still go and see this one when it launches, u never know what happens when I see products in person
