Elegant -- glad they didn't cancel your Pink Peony gloss! One time I ordered Naive l/s (which I still really want) and it went through and they charged my card -- only to get an email saying that it was out of stock. I know what a devastating feeling that is LOL
Still waiting for my order -- can't wait until tomorrow. I am planning my day around it so I make sure I am here when it arrives lol

Michelle - I am excited for Tuesday to roll around too!!! I did 3 separate orders LOL but they are all coming in together tomorrow.

Chanel cuties - Mimosa & Morning Rose - sooo pretty

Its not as Taupe around the eyes as it swatches on the hand. More light slight Taupe silvery shimmer in a good way - just gorgeous!

I finally got to play a little bit with this collection! Went to the counter and had all the testers out. I was with a friend so I didn't feel comfortable enough to really take my time!
At any rate, I have my list all ready now...
Rose Bronzer (the coral swatched a little muddy on me), the pink in the rose bronzer is brighter than it appears in pics.
Aurore and Pink Peony glossimers (both super gorgeous). Pensee was really pretty too, but not my kind of colour. PP was not mauvey at all, seemed to be a nice clean "jelly" pink colour, very summery!
Morning rose n/p, which still reminds me of the pink polish from last year's collection, can't recall the name atm, except the shimmer is definitely more gold and the colour seems a bit deeper.
The liner, ya, it's pretty. Can't turn that one down! Even the SA told me I had to get that one, and she's normally not pushy at all, lol! And she was showing me how you can layer just about any shadow on it to change the colour, since it picked up whatever she put over it.
The quad, very very pretty. I liked that the greens were not too yellow based, since I have enough of those. Not sure if the greyish shade will look too flattering on me, but it was pretty.
I found Mimosa a bit too bright for my taste, but the shimmer was so pretty in it. I'll have to hunt for a paler yellow.
So ya, this is a very big haul for me. I'm looking forward to it, after which I'll have to be super good for a very loooong time! Now just waiting for the call that it's in!

All the swatches of RP make it look so gritty? I still ordered it because everyone seems to love it so I'm assuming it's just the way the pics come out? A lot of people have mentioned how nice it would be on the waterline but is it too glittery for that?
My Summer order shipped out this morning so I'll probably have it in 1.5 weeks or so...so long!!! But on the upside my RC Shine order should be showing up any time now. It's been a week already

I just got off the phone with a Chanel beauty expert direct from Chanel.com
& she says that the Rose Platine "should" be waterline safe. She has worn it & she has hard contact lenses & it was fine.
It isn't gritty feeling imo.I will try it & I wear hard lenses as well. I think it will be fine. I have a smashbox liner that actual does feel gritty with shimmer & I've not even had problems with that one, so we should be good.

Thanks for welcoming me! Yes, I do love the Summer Chanel Collection, I think it is one of their best collections too!Devoted - welcome to our thread! We're glad you're here - so glad you're loving the new Chanel collection - it's one of the best IMO!
Lou, I'm so thrilled that you'll be geting your first Chanel quad!! At least I think I read that somewhere......welcome to the foray!!
Christa and Nora - hope winter decides to leave sometime soon - I heard there was snow up in Michigan planned for today as well......we'll probably have very little spring - go from 30 to 90 in one fell swoop. Drives me nuts. I'm ready to open my windows!!!
I agree with all of you - Rose Platine is really the standout here - and the quad. I love everything I got for sure!

I picked up the liner and the quad, when you pair both together it makes for a beautiful effect. You can see what I mean in my avatar. I love the liner the best!
Such a pretty rose gold/silvery taupe.

Well I just tried Rose Platine on my waterline - it doesn't bother my eyes/contacts at all but it doesn't really show up at all either unless I pull my bottom eyelid down
But I love it on & around my eyes

[/quote] I tested Rose Plantine on my eye last night. I didn't have any problems. It took a couple of layers to get it to show on the waterline, but it's still pretty. It's subtle, but still noticeable. It lights up the eyes. I can't wait to wear it with something like Mac's Satin Taupe.
