Lou, I have normal skin, with a bit or oil on the T zone (still ? ).. lol. I have had no problems with either drying skin or breakouts -- I use Kryolan powder when it's extremely humid, and Chanel poudre no. 1 when it's normal or for evening.

awesome! thank you very much! oh and annoyingly i still get breakouts like a bloody teenager so it's only fair you get a little oil on your t zone! you get the better deal!

well i tok the plunge and bought the foundation! and i also got the loose powder because it goes very well with the foundation. plus i am happy to say that the lightest shade matched me perfectly! i was worried it might be a little dark but nope! the downside is that the chanel lady was so nice that i want to go back and buy more goodies! hee hee!

lol! the powder is very nice. it isn't matte but it isn't sparkly either. it looks very fresh and is really fine and so soft. i could tell a huge difference between this and my rimmel stay matte powder!

Lou, great that b10 matches you perfectly! Hope the combo holds up for you! I also wear this combo and it stays on beautifully all day on me. My skin is normal to dry though. I love the loose powder!

i got a little shiney on the forehead by about 3pm. but that is normal for me! i used those blot sheets and i was fine. i love the foundation! so light but gves just enough coverage. i shall still use my colourstay one however only when my skin isn't looking great. at the moment it's looking ok so i don't need anything heavy.... but watch me wake up to a face full of spots now i have said that! lol!

This might sound like a weird question, but any of you using the VLA a lot, how do you get the last of the makeup out of the bottle? I mean you need to shake it very well, but once you shake it and it has less makeup in, how do you get it out? :dunno:

^^ lol this may sound weird but it's not because I've thought about it too. I'm certain I haven't use half of my VLA yet, but I have the UV essentiel sunblock which comes in the exact same rectangular bottle and size. It also has some oil and liquid so I need to shake it well, but I still think VLA needs more shaking. It's almost finishing so I leave it upside down and I give it a slight up and down shaking before squeezing it out. Every time I thought I'm at the last drop, I tilt the bottle slightly and more can be squeezed out. Then I mix it in my palm before applying. Hope this helps. However, I think VLA is more tricky. Please let us know if you found a better way! :)

^^^ Thanks, I feel a lot less weird now ;) I think I will try the standing on it cap thing and then not shake up and down, but left and right and hope this is enough to mix the foundation. Will keep you updated :winkiss:

I've thought about this too....I was thinking i'd have to cut the bottle open and transfer it somewhere else, though that'd be a bit messy

I am dying to try Vitalumiere Aqua out, but the Chanel counter closest to me is very rude and snippy to me. I don't know if it's because I'm young, but they think I'm clueless whenever I ask or buy anything from them.
Should I order it online or just deal with the counter?

Well, don't take it personal - a lot of them act that way. If you know what color match you are, I would order on chanel.com - free ship & free goodies

VA is a beautiful elegant foundation

oh that is such a shame but i understand what you mean. there is one department store where i refuse to buy stuff from in my city because i get ignored at the make up counters - even when i have something in my hand wanting to buy! luckily chanel is at the other store and the lady there is really sweet. :) maybe you could match yourself at the counter but buy online later? or see if they actually speak nicely the next time you go in.

[/quote] Just ignore them, worst case they transform into slobbering nice people once you buy something. If you know your colour, you could order online. But the counter would give you samples and you could try it out first. Just do not let them intimidate you, stay nice and professional, but stand your ground. They should really know better.
