MAC - Semi Precious Discussion

Dark Indulgence needs to be in my life! I thought this collection was the July mineralize collection..it's coming out in less than 2 weeks?

Nope. In the 6th picture, you can see regular sized eyeshadows in the background compared to the mineral ones in the foreground. They look like they could be the same size as the Mega Metal shadows from Peacocky.

Went to my local MAC store today and the manager (and the girls) there told me the release was MAY 12!!!
I was totally taken aback. she was looking right at the book in front of me. I saw the Name of the collection, the promo image ( a blond girl with dark lips from a profile shot... it was upside down) and they did indeed repeat the date back to me several times.

23 CAD for the eyeshadows.
And as for the brushes, she said they are indeed split in half, but on flat brushes they are split lenght wise, if that makes sense. so on one side, there are one type of bristles running all along the flat part, and on the back end, the other type on that same flat part. The MUA said they were pretty cool actually.

erm wth?!?! that is so freaking weird! mac always do the mineral collections in july. i wonder why they have stepped it up a bit? i bet we still have to wait in the uk though

well yeah surf baby is meant to be the summer collection! but i wonder why the mac ladies would give Mabelle false info - they must be right

That's odd on the release date. Do you think these ma's are confused or they've been given incorrect info? I was thinking July also.

Both the strawberry pink lipstick and gloss look amazing, but the gloss doesn't look to me like a pink, it's more of a coral orangey shade. There has been such a confusion with the dates all around the world! I read at a blog that Fashion Flower is going to be released July in Europe!! Seriously.... why?? The collection is obviously a spring one, judging by the colors and the whole theme, but still Mac is releasing Surf Baby earlier than FF.

well... we are having Surf Baby right now... it's technically impossible we'll have Semi precious in May (here in Italy).... Flightly should launch in May too... we won't have fashion flower...maybe Semi Precious comes out in June??? It's too early for me XD
If Semi Precious comes in Italy too early I'll buy only two brushes I want it to come in July to do a big haul

I'm so confused.

I'd honestly prefer the Semi Precious collection be released in early July than in May. Maybe the MAC people were getting confused between Flighty & Surf Baby. I mean, with so many collections coming out, how can't they get confused just like us?
If anyone finds out the real deal, please post for us confused MAC lovers. Thank you!!!!

PS: Just thought, how can Semi Precious be released in May when we haven't even seen any pictures of it yet (except for the shadows)??
