I am new and want to thank you all for all your paictures and swatches and inputs about Chanel Summer.
I just recently discovered beauty of Chanel items and would like to share my toughts about the items I got. I do own lots of makeup but I have to admit that since my Chanel Summer haul I have not been wearing anything else (its been over 2 weeks now)
Pensee glossimer- beautiful, love it, this is my first glossimer and love the texture, how it stis and feels on the lips, MAC lipglass can hide from now on.
Morning Rose- definitelly very pretty, love the finish and shine of it and the sparkles, makes me happy anytime I look at my hands.
Bronze Rose- very nice, but find it a bit hard to use as I am trying to pick up the bronzer only colors to use all over my face first and need to be careful not to touch the pink color with my brush what is a bit hard when I am rushing in the morning. Still very happy with it.
Rose Platinum- very very bautiful, I never wear liner on lower lashline as I am scared of ending up looking as racoon at the end of the day but this one is wonderful, considering getting a back up. I would never tought I would spend $30 on a liner and be thinking it was worthy every penny.
Total star of the collection for me is Lilium quad.
I love greens, they look great with my coloring.,with my beige blondish hair. I also have many greens, Dior Tropical Light quint. But Lilium is something else. Very elegant, sophisticated look I can wear to work, which brings light and freshness into my face. I didnt use other shadows since I got this, I can not get enough of it. Love using the taupe on the lid with dark green in the crease or both light colors pinkish and light green blended on the lid with taupe in the crease and rose platinum as liner, makes me look so awake and bright.
I am so happy with all the stuff and can not wait to see what new is coming up for fall.
Oh and since I loved Morning Rose polish, after I wore for a week I decided to also go to Bergdorf and get Miami Peach as it seems to be the same or very silimar finish, just in different color. When I saw it in the store I was not that crazy about it, the lighting was bad, but after I came home, put it on my nails and went out I was in loooooove. If you like Morning Rose shine, you would love Miami Peach!!!!
Thanks, I love the gifts. The brooch is all right, it isn't the Chanel fashion brooch, I would have love it a lot more. This is from the makeup department, and "Chanel Maquillage" is engraved at the back of the brooch. I like it, but I'll probably not wear it any time in the near future because I don't wear brooches. I show you a close up pic tomorrow just for fun!
