Romance looks way more blue pink pink on my lips than my arm. But yes, Aventure is beautiful!!!!

^^ Great swatches! I wanted to buy Antigone today but it is sold out at this counter too. So the MA recommended MC and Elise, but I decided to wait. I finally tried on Jersey Rose and love it. But I bought too much makeup so it will have to wait, again.

Elegant... gorgeous pics as usual!

Janice, I swatched all of the RCs -- even the overseas ones, and imho, I loved the Romance for the sweet pink lips.. remember these are sheer and as such your own pigmentation will affect the colour. I have a light pigmentation but like a more important lip even if it's sheer.. and Romance did it for me.
None of the lighter shades did anything for my face.. which needs all the help it can get.. lol
I also got Sari d - Monte Carlo - Antigone (3x), Romance (2x) and Rebelle (3x)

I want it too but the counter I went to last time was out of stock of Antigone, hence I picked Monte Carlo over Bonheur.
Elegant, all three of the pinks look gorgeous on you

. I played around with my stash yesterday and found a pink shade I want (after combining some shades) so I'll be alright for a while with pinks.

I really love the texture of RCS... and I wonder on the next texture (the matte ones?) I never like mattes, but I hope it's just because I haven't find the right shade and texture

Yeah, I know. My lips are really purpley pigmented. Boy is nice, but it is MLBB kinda thing. I am so into color on my lips lately - like I can't get enough

I like colours on my lips too, and I don't really like my natural lip colour. Boy is very MLBB on me, almost undetectable, so it's not my favourite RCS. But I like Boy more than Stunning RC.

Now I'm excited about the new RA velvets coming this fall!

I just got an email from Chanel saying thank you for being a Facebook fan -- it said there was going to be an exclusive RCS shine released only on Chanel.com. Hmmm, I wonder if it will be the Royallieu shade I've been reading about??

I'm a fan but no email, I think because I can't order from chanel.com. I've tried on Royallieu, it is a very sheer nude, lighter than Boy. On my lips I get mainly shimmer.

I have Royallieu (and reasonably pigmented lips) and I mainly get shine/shimmer and very little colour. I think if you want colour Royallieu is probs one to avoid unless you don't have much natural pigment to your lips. In all honesty I'm wishing I'd gone for a more pigmented one, but never mind!

I tried on Royallieu as well as Cloud 9 and Canotier.. and I got pale, half shiny lips.. with hardly any colour for my lips or my face... I was soooooo glad

cause I went and bought two of the Rosee powders.. lol

I tried on Canotier and didn't care for it either. It added no color, and just made my pigmented lips look a bit frosty.

After seeing all of the Elegant's beautiful swatches I went to my counter tonight looking for Chance. Not only did they not have it but the SA told me there wasn't a color by that name. Huh?
