MAC - Semi Precious Discussion

My 183 still holds up well and I used it a lot. Even if I complain about the high prices of MAC brushes, I have to admit that they last forever if you take care of them. I also wash my brushes after every use, but most of them are still in good condition.

Did you purposely miss out on the 183 or were you just not interested at that time?

Anyway, I am excited that MAC came up with new ideas for brushes. I hope they live up to my expectation.
oh absolutely they last many years! i use mine every few days and it is holding up well too. my 182 is used pretty much daily and i have had that for about 3 years and is still perfect :)

I'm excited about the MSF's. I love those! I keep changing my mind between getting two or three. We need some more swatches.

Thx for the swatches. Now it's a little difficult for me to reject the Creemsheen Glass....Geo Pink and Natural Flare are calling my name :)

The eyeshadows look very pretty in pan but after seeing the swatches, once they're blended and applied to skin they don't look very special to me. If I purchased any of them it would be only because they look pretty not because I'd actually wear them....that's the reason why I am not purchasing any. The only one that might make me give my mes no buy is Smoked Ruby....but that's a huge might....

Swatches
Thanks for posting!

I keep trying to tell myself Cremesheens are over, but I'm officially now completely excited again with the color range in the collection. Probably will wind up getting them all, now.

This collection will be a bank-breaker indeed. Yikes.

EDIT: Ooopsie, I think we had this info already, but it's still nice to see the # printed on the brushes.

Meh, after seeing the swatches I don't think I'm going to get anything after all....the lip colors are nothing unique to me, and not anything MAC hasn't released before or will release again. I think this is a sign I just need to start stocking up on basics. >_>

Is it just me or 2 of the creamsheen glasses(natural flare & geo pink) seem to have different finish than a regular creamsheen glass
Right now after seeing the swatches I don`t want anything. The trouble is I don`t know if I should be happy or sad!

ooohh the msf's look lovely!

I can't stop looking at them. The only one I might know of is Goldstone as it seems to be veeeeeery glittery. Nothing against a bit of sparkle, but the the glitter chunks seems to be bigger than in the other 3 MSFs.

yeah i'm not a fan of glitter chunks! cheeky bronze from a couple of years ago can be a bit like that on me :(

yeah i can see bits of shimmer in them which cremesheens don't usually have. and be happy that your wallet is safe!
