MAC - Semi Precious Discussion

Since Fashion Flower is coming out at the same time, my list for this has to be small Although, by pushing back the date, MAC has shrunk my FF list to just Ever Hip and Bows & Curtseys! They woulda made a lot more cash off me if it had come out on time...
I'm a bit dubious about the e/s from this collection, I only have 1 mineralised e/s (Pink Split), and I hardly ever reach for it However, I neeeeeeeed One of a Kind and Gem of Roses l/s, and am seriously contemplating the eye blending brush too. I don't have any MAC brushes, and was planning on getting the 217 first, but this seems really kinda similar?? Any opinions on which I should get?
Oh and sorry for the mini essay, I just finished my second year of uni so I haven't been on specktra in a while hehe

Y would they release two major collections all at once, not very wise

After seeing the swatches I'm much less jazzed about this, the eyeshadows don't look like anything special. I'm especially let down by smoked ruby, which isn't at all like I was hoping it would look. Oh well.

I do however love the swatches for the pearl MSF and will definitely be buying that one, and one or 2 of the blushes are a definitely possibility. They look similar to some blushes I already have though so I'll need to check them out in store to see what they look like on me. The coral one reminds me of The Soft Meow from Fabulous Felines, which I never managed to get and was hoping to find at a CCO. I don't have one that sort of really warm tawny color and if it's like that when I put it on I'm definitely buying it.

I'm feeling pretty meh about the brushes in general ever since realizing they aren't a fiber mix but just a split, but I don't have a 227 and love the other 2 oversized fluffy shadow brushes I have so the 225 brush is appealing to me. I'll probably wait for some reviews though to see how it works for people using different types of products before dropping 30 bucks on this thing and then never using it and buying a 227 anyway.

I would also say it looks more like a 224, but we won't know for sure until we get some more info.

Oh my!

It sort of looks like a sheen-y color with ultra sparkling veins running through it - if that's what the textures on these are going to be like, yup I am in some big ass trouble

They will probably appear closer to the end of the month. We haven't even seen a lot of swatches for the Blogger's collection and that one is coming out next week.
