Where is the Live Journal link? I don't think Illusoire looks too horribly shimmery in Sabrina's blended out swatch, does it? At least not in the one outside, without flash. And I really like the finish on Ebloui and Emerveille blended out.

Ahhh..I see. Thanks! Well I think if you apply it blended out like in Sabrina's blended swatches it will be more wearable. Even in the lighter swatches on LJ it looks ok to me. Or am I crazy for considering it?

I'm so relieved about so many items being perm and also that the more swatches I see the less of a need I feel for many of the items. My spending has been so out of control! I think I will focus on deciding which of the LE items I feel are a must and go from there. I'm pretty positive I want the Rose Ecrin JC though! I'm thinking that I can likely pass on the Prelude quad. Taupes tend to look so blah on me for some reason. I need more info on pigmentation too. I'm also just not getting excited about the cream shadows. I have yet to even try the Armani Eyes to Kill formula! I just think they will be too spakly on my old lady lids LOL

The blush is very pretty and I agree with Sabrina that it's closest to Caprice. Does not look like Blushbaby on me -- sorry I forgot to add that to my arm before I took the pics but on my skin RE is brighter/less brown than BB.

The Prelude quad is really different from any of the Chanel quads I've tried...looks nothing like Dunes or Demure. I can understand why these were called shadow shades. Although they look like taupey browns in the pan and even on my arm, they pull more cool/taupey grey on my eyes. They're in the family of Safari and Taupe Grise on me. They are satins, no shimmer whatsoever except in the highlight shade. I think I will love this quad in the fall! Here are a couple of pics on my arm.

Pretty! I love the blush and have that coming in the mail. Thank you for that swatch. Now I feel like it is a definite go to blush for me! Is that the Prelude Quad? (I may be wrong with my names as I am new to Chanel!). I like the idea that it cools down to a greyish colour. Brown, taupes and greys look good on me! This one is permanent, right? I am thirsting for that Byzantin quad now. Looks like my Chanel collection will be growing a bit more than I expected. And I doubt I am the first one who has every said that! lol

Awww, that's too bad because I think these shades would look great with blue eyes. They are still taupey greys not blue-based greys (which look horrible on me).

Anyway, since we cannot order online, I'll have to swatch them at the counter, so I will decide there I guess

I still cannot stop thinking about the Chanel eye liner. I just wonder how it applies? I know it is a different formula from Rose Platine which I loved. Are many of you thinking of passing on the eye liner?

Jade always looks gorgeous on the models. I think I saw some pics (on beautyeditor?) where the models were wearing it and look so pretty I wanted the liner too. I tried Enthusiast on my lips before. It came out with some red nail polishes and other RAs, I remember. I didn't like it on, maybe too warm, but that was when I was still uncomfortable with all types of red lips.
 
 


 

If the lipstick is nude pink, I want it. And RE is beautiful on Sabrina's blog! I don't have RD or the mac nude pink blush so I can buy it without much justification.

Hi, Christine is wearing Rouge Coco in Byzantine - the Rouge Coco Shine formula does not have a shade called Byzantine and was not released till about april

If your talking about the Byzance collection than there is new limited edition lipstick called Byzantin in the Rouge Allure formula - kinda confusing I know!
