Oh good the vote is almost evened out! Was thinking maybe I shouldn't buy Antigone in the first place

I love them both, actually. Monte Carlo mostly behaves like a strawberry sheen, now I see on the pictures. And I love Antigone exactly because of what ElvenEyes said
. Also Antigone stays longer than Monte Carlo.

FYI, when I was at Nordies trying out some orange-red lippies I was informed that Coromandel RAL is being discontinued, so hop on it if you've been wanting it! I was waffling between that or Audace since they're so close (Audace is just a smidge redder) but hearing it being DC'd made me jump the gun.

Astrid - love both, but my vote goes to Antigone. It's a special colour and gorgeous on you.

I'm not miss QQ but I also have Ardent RA. It's def a rose copper shade on me and unlike anything I own. I have cool undertone and go from NW20 to NW30 depending on season. I think Ardent is gorgeous in spring and summer
I find I usually can wear both warm and cool lip colours despite my cool undertone but Ardent seems to me a universally flattering shade

Yup Ardent is a decidedly warm, coppery rose shade like Sadeeh said. I agree that it is universally flattering, and great in the warmer months. I wear it when I'm looking for a warm rose shade. It has some frost to it, though not so bad that turns me off the lipstick completely.

I'm waffling on whether I want to keep Audace or not. I love orange red lippies, and I like Audace, but there's not quite enough orange in it (on me anyways) to make me love it. At $32 I don't want to be meh about a color. The color isn't ZOMG LOVE like it was with Coromandel RA Laque, but I unfortunately had to return Coromandel due to its uneven application on my lips. I really would prefer not to have to buy a liner (Chanel Rouge or MAC Redd) to have the color come off as I want it, otherwise I'd just stick to MAC Cherry liner with an orange gloss on top. Thoughts, or suggestions on another orange-based red to try?

well, Coromandel is my fave orange based red lipsticks and it applies even and opaque on me. U think maybe u got a bad tube? My second fave orange red is Nars Heat Wave

^Yeah, I'm thinking I got a bad tube, since Imperial and Mandarin aren't like that and I couldn't get it to apply onto my inner lip area without any patchiness at all. Unfortunately Coromandel is sold out on Nordstrom's site (and all the Nordies around here), but I can still buy it on Chanel's site. If not I'll take a look at Nars Heat Wave when I'm at the mall returning Audace. Thanks! :3
