I agree, I am getting bewildered at it all! I'm just glad that some of it is permanent!Ok this is just way too much information
Oh yes i am already dreading what is going to happen when lightscapade launches again - absolutely crazy!!

I don't know whether this would fall on deaf ears or not, but I intend to email both MAC Corporate as well as EL Corporate with my concerns regarding availability on this item. I predict it will be the Stereo Rose debacle all over again or worse. Not only will we have to move against the Evil Bay poachers but possibly each other as well. Already there are posts about multiple item purchases of that item. I hope MAC has adequate supply and I hope we all get what we want. But I fear it is going to be a mess. Remember how quickly JW and HP sold out (and it was a small "under the mainstream radar" collection)?

It's the limited quantity that makes the product interesting. It's a very simple but effective marketing strategy. Just imagine Lightscapade would become a perm item - a lot of people would pass on it and go for LE items - the "other" Lightscape - only. And creating a hype on blogs and discussion forums will just support that the prices on evilbay will increase in the speed of light(scapade), especially, as you pointed out, many will make multiple purchases.
I'm curious how MAC will respond to your inquiry and if you get more than a generic answer. Please keep us informed and let's hope for a "Lightscapade Revolution." Fingers crossed for all of us!

I have emailed both in the past with my own concerns about other things. MAC Corporate did respond - albeit with a somewhat cursory, canned reply - while EL Corporate completely blew me off on more than one occasion. EL Corporate never once even acknowledged that my emails had been received and/or were being reviewed. By all means, however, do email them because your experience could be different.
i think it is a good idea to email them and i may even do the same with the uk side of the company. i am very warey of ebay people too - we all know they read these forums and will see that we are all going crazy already

Collections come out on the first Thursday of the month for those of us in the UK and Ireland, except on rare occasions, whereas in the US they don't have that kind of fixed release day. The dates listed, like the 29th of Sep are the US release dates. We'll probably get two at the start of Sep and two at the start of Oct or something like that.
yup we always have a delay here. weirdly things went online a day early though today! very good!!
i have been busy all day so checked tiwtter on my phone to see people getting all excited about it! i literally grabbed my card and legged it to a pc to order!It was weird today cause usually I log-on to Specktra first but today I checked out the blogs I follow and than logged onto Specktra to find out the collections where online! Lol typical but I never missed out on anything so thats okay

all these collections coming out this fall! whew! its going to be so hard to keep up. I know for sure I am going to get another 226 brush. That brush is amazing and should be part of the perm line. Its perfect for my lid space. So glad its returning.
I am kind of interested in the new shadows and even some lipsticks. These summer collections, overall are really boring me. Looks like MAC is going to redeem themselves come Aug. I think that's wonderful!

See this is one of the advantages to my job, I am on a computer all day with access to the internet so I end up checking the website every 10 minutes or so haha!
