I'm so glad everyone is loving this collection! If I was working full time, I would have gone bonkers as well and picked up more items as well as back-ups of my favourites I don't start my job until September though, so I've got to keep saving, and it's still not technically a full-time position. Maybe I'll be able to swap for some stuff down the road, or convince someone to raid a CCO for me!

This was definitely my first big hit since Peacocky and Mickey C - I know it's not for everyone, but it definitely has been for me!

ot: I am letting myself get one more MES! I'm trying to decide to get Jades Fortune or Rare Find. I do have Clarity and HOS too, are they close enough to JF?

I would vote for Rare Find! I think you will really like it. It has beautiful purple undertones.

UDPP works great for me with them. Even without primer I have had no issues with longevity but with it, 10-12 hours is normal for me.

UDPP works great for me with them. Even without primer I have had no issues with longevity but with it, 10-12 hours is normal for me.

I can't TELL y'all how much I messed around with this look. My first attempt was a flop and I had to remove everything and start over. I tried using the 235 brush just to see how it applies, and it applies great, but it's way too big for what I was trying to achieve. The second attempt I didn't remove completely, I just kept messing with the colors and blended, blended, blended. It's still not quite what I wanted, but in the end I like it. Blue Sheen on the bottom is for Ravenclaw, Golden Gaze in the inner corner is for Hufflepuff, Smoked Ruby is for Gryffindor, and Dark Indulgence is for Slytherin. I've got on my sparkly Gryffindor shirt and time turner! Heading out in about 1.5 hours. SO EXCITED FOR THE MOVIE!!!

I have two days to decide what to choose from this collection.
I said I'd skip the e/s but you all look great with them!! I think I'll get Clarity for sure and any that will catch my eye.

And the MSF, I'll get Goldstone, Pearl and Crystal Pink or only two of them. Is Pearl dark enough to wear as a blush or just highlighter?
And for Goldstone what nipple should I look for?

I'm planing to create a Slytherin look with dark indulgence when I go see the movie!!

I've the same colouring as you and Pearl give me a very bronzey look. It all depends on 'the nipple', of course - but I can definitely wear it as a blush!

I'm going to see HP this afternoon and I plan on wearing Golden Gaze on the lid and Smoked Ruby in the crease/outer V. I will accessorize with my Gryffindor pin. Can't wait!!!

U guys... Its mean to talk abou nipples when i cant get my hands on one! But ill remain strong and not buy an msf. I know Mac-Guy will make me want it but i have to ignore him on this one (and quarts fusion)

Well, I was much more impressed with this collection than originally planned. Not the biggest MAC haul I've done but not the smallest either.

I almost bought Goldstone but no matter what how it was applied it was still too orange and oompa loompa looking on my NW15 skin

I am not buying any backups even though I love what I got. I purchased from the Chanel Byzantine and Nordies Anniversary collections as well as the NARS Nordies anniversary e/s palette so I think I have more than enough goodies right now. And MAC fall collections are so amazing this year. I want to budget for those as well.

Get Mineralized with MAC! - here is a tutorial using some mineral shadows - some of you guys wanted to see how i use mine. i don't use shadows from this collection but you get the idea! none of that 'fading really quickly' crap that some bloggers may have you believe!
