MAC - MAC Me Over Discussion

I'm on the fence with the Lady Grey eyeshadow quad. I do like how the colors look, but... I want it, but kind of don't need to have it. I think I'll pass and wait to see how the other quad looks. Plus with Cindy Sherman, Johnny Weir and Gareth Pugh I'm hoping for more dramatic and very pigmented shadows to be coming out. Definitely will be getting Smoked Purple, Prince Noir, Runaway Red, Oh Oh Oh and Offshoot lipsticks!!!! Loving the swatches of the lipsticks.

IMO the lady gray quad has been created for not so young people (such as the woman in the promo pictures).. colors are not matte but soft and also the name "lady gray" makes me think about a mmm old classy woman! I could like quad for me anyway^^ but still not sure!
I think I could pass for a classy old woman, although I don't really want to admit it...

I really like the colours in the quad. Azuki Bean was the one shade that I really liked in the Cutie quad, and it seems like the purple in this one is a decent substitute. I also love those sorts of greyed-green shades and I find that there aren't enough of them.

Swatches of Stunner blush!
It reminds me of Instant Chic in the pot. I really want this now!

Also Dark Envy and Runaway Red both look gorgeous! The quad was already on my list and that looks even better than i expected

Edit: I also found some pictures and swatches of the dark lippies including Prince Noir on this site http://scandalousbeauty.net/.
It looks like a lighter, less pigmented version of Warmth of Coral.

Yeah i looked up some pictures of Instant Chic and it doesn't look as much like it as i thought. A lighter WoC is a better discription. I still love the colour and i'm fair so i'm sure it will work on me:)

I'm glad I didn't buy WoC, though I was very tempted :)

Stunner was described as a 'light coral pink' but it doesn't look very pink to me. I might be giving this one a miss, too.

Funny, I associated the name with Lady Jane Grey, who was an English noblewoman and monarch for a very short period of time in 1553.

Stunner was a for sure buy or so I thought. It looks way to pale for me. WoC was eewy on me and this one does look very light. Pink Cult was decieving in the pan but I think this one looked pale in the swatch too.

This was exactly what I said previously, the two thus far look almost identical.

Still wondering if Moleskin is similar to UD Naked. It's a maybe for me.
I'd like to see Equibrillium on a face swatch. I'm hoping it's one of those subtle contouring blush. If it is, then I'm getting that.

Most likely the 226, if it's still available when I visit the MAC store (not queuing in front of it just to get this one :p)

I'm passing all the l/g and l/s for now, unless I found a color that I'd absolutely would love to have.

Swatches up!

I don't have the original Shadesticks to compare with but I have to say that especially Tundra is definitely not dry. Very creamy, pigmented, rich and easy to work with. Heirloom is also not dry but less pigmented than Tundra, also because of the nature of the colour. But again I can't say if their different from the originals since I don't have any.

Offshoot is lovely, Good Times look like crap on me!

And long time no see, glad to be back. Have been on holiday in France.

Welcome back!
Thanks for the swatches. :D
I really like the look of Offshoot, though I was hoping it would be a bit more pink since I didn't buy Gem of Roses... my loss. T_T
