What about Rare Find? The one I picked up was almost all purple veining. It's a beautiful shade, but one of those ones that needs to be foiled imo.

rare find over a purple base. And depending on ur veining.... obviously. But mine i put it on top of shockaholic and i got a purplish effect

Clarity and Rare Find over Count your assets is a great smoky purple. The deep purple like SR and GG was in the Villians MES. Now that is a dark, sparkly purple!

Well...I called a few stores and got my Clarity! While I was at it I also got Blue Sheen and Hint of Sapphire. Now that was NOT supposed to happen lol. The lady told me my blue sheen has quite a bit of yellow veining and my other two were quite veiny too. Had to call another state but I got them

I called a local Mac counter for the 235 brush. They told me they had one left, so I told them to hold it for me. I drove all the way down there, all chipper & jolly, just to find out that they couldn't find my hold...No 235 for me I guess

Nordstrom.com, Macys.com, Bloomingdales.com and Dillards.com have the 235. Also Dillards still has 7 shadow colors left including Smoked Ruby, Rare Find, and HOS. So if anyone is looking...these places still have some stock. Most of them still have some MSFs left too.

The time saving factor for me is that one pan gives me mid, dark and highlight all in one (at least the ones with lots of veiningI understand what you mean. I don't wear these shadows when I am in a rush generally. But equally they don't take a silly amount of time... but I understand there are extra steps there you don't usually do.

What pleased me was to see this collection also revitalize the sales of Big Bounce shadows - another seriously under-appreciated product this year. I don't think it's going to stop people from following what the bloggers decree, but I can't imagine that even the biggest makeup blogs impact more than 20% of the total customers for MAC.

I caved in and got clarity backup jade's fortune backup, and rose quatrz and peral MSF..... this collection totally raped my bank account but... I'm so glad I'm not into the fall collections!
I'm thrilled you found another Clarity. And I'm anxious to hear your latest story from your JF hunt. Are you hoping for a particular veining?

FYI - Gem of Roses l/s appears to be available again on the MAC web site. I sometimes go poking around in older collections to see what's still available and GoR is no longer listed as Sold Out.
